"What's this?" The interviewer asked, pulling out a photo, the size of a polaroid from the actor's wallet. She turned it so it could face Tom, as he blushed in response.
The two were doing a game, where one would take a slip of paper from a box and the other person would have to do what was written. The interviewer had one that read, "Take a photo out of the other's wallet and ask about it."
It was the photo from his interaction with the bookworm. He could not stop looking at it when he got home. Even when he decided to leave it on his coffee table to test himself on how long he could go without it, he finds himself reaching out for it within the next ten minutes.
Tom did not know, just looking at it gives him the fuzzy feeling, the one he liked. He always stared at the girl, the hug she gave always being the first scene coming into his head. The man was confused, never had he reacted in such a way to any woman. Much less a fan.
It confused him, but he believes that it was merely due to being attracted to her. He had this feeling of longing, to talk more to her, to become closer to her. But he could not, for he hasn't met her again.
Tom visited the park on his free days, strolling around with Bobby. He often stayed for an hour or two and waited to see if she would happen to come and read, just like how he met her. He always sat at the same bench, and the exact spot he was at.
If no one sat beside him, he would stare at where the woman once sat, imagining her with him. It felt silly at first, but it was something he often found himself doing. He always wore a jacket, just in case she came and he could offer it to her just like he had before.
"Hello? Tom?" The interviewer waved a hand in front of his face, snapping the actor out of his thoughts. He gave a small smile, "Sorry." The interviewer smiled back, and repeated her question.
He scratched his head, he did not know how to respond. "I.. Happened to meet her during one of my morning runs, and she was one of the most relaxed people I've ever met." He felt like he could not explain it properly, but did the best he could manage.
The interviewer raised her eyebrows, "Oh? How was she like?" His interaction with the bookworm made him smile, "Actually Hana, she didn't even recognize me at first, and when I told her who i was, she just called my work cool and changed the topic."
"Ah, is she a fan?" Hana was intrigued, in all the times she had interviewed Tom, she has never heard him talk about meeting such a fan. Tom shrugged, "I think so."
"She's really beautiful," Hana complimented, looking at the photo once again. "Bobby as well." She giggled, noticing the dog that photo-bombed. Tom chuckled, "She really is beautiful. Bobby and I enjoyed her company."
"Perhaps we could get the lovely lady's name?" Hana's time with Tom was almost up, and she had to close-up the interview soon. The actor sighed, "Here's the problem.. I never got her name. I was going to ask, but someone called her and she had to hurry off." He shook his head slightly at the memory, his curly hair bouncing along.
"She took a photo with me, and asked if I wanted a copy. How thoughtful, right?" Tom said, gently taking the photo from Hana and smiled at it. "Indeed, Tom. How about this, let's ask the internet to help you find her!" She could see that the woman caught Tom's eye and she was determined to help him get a girlfriend.
The camera focused on Tom as he showed the photo to it. "Please help me find her." He said, smiling at the end and retrieved his wallet from Hana. Slipping the photo back inside, he kept the wallet into his pocket.
Hana closed up the interview, "Thank you for your time today Tom! If you have any information about the beautiful lady, do send it to my email, which will be shown now!"
As the camera stopped rolling, Hana turned to Tom. "I'm sure you'll find her. The internet is powerful." She said, and flashed him a reassuring smile. He smiled back at his friend, "Thank you, Hana."
She grinned, "Anything for you to get a girlfriend. I must go now, I have to meet my girlfriend in a while." She got up, and waved goodbye, walking to her dressing room.
The actor did the same, leaving the the interview room and walked towards his car. Settling inside, he turned on his phone and was met with a ton of notifications about the livestream he just participated in.
He read some of them, some going along the lines of how beautiful the girl was, and some insults as well. He rolled his eyes, ignoring them as he knew they were wrong.
He pressed the explore button on his Instagram, and photos of him from the livestream were shown. He swiped though the posts from fans, liking them and read the captions about how they're going to try to find the lady. He commented his thanks, and went onto Twitter. Taking a photo of the polaroid, her uploaded it onto a tweet, saying about how much he would appreciate it if his fanbase were to help find the woman.
Automatically, his tweet got liked, retweeted by many of his fans, some of the replies even saying about how he was finally active on social media. A few replies had tagged a few accounts, causing him to check them out. Oddly enough, all of the girls that owned the accounts looked similarly to her, but they weren't her.
Putting away his phone, he put the keys into the ignition. The car he loved ever since he turned twenty roared to life, causing the owner to smile. The sound never got old, Tom loved hearing it. Turning on the radio, he drove out of the car park, jamming along to whatever was on the radio.
