For a couple days Jug, FP, and I remained in a cheap motel in Greendale living off the very limited money we had on us. The second the quarantine was lifted we rushed back aiming to be heroes but fell flat. The town had turned to hell and was drained of every last drop of happiness. The serpents were mad at Jug, FP, and I for not being there when they needed it the most. The school turned into a police state with Weatherbee's new rules. The crime right soared and everything seemingly was turning to shit.

"Blossom, Topaz, break it up," I hear Moose demand as Jughead and I stand by my locker waiting for the girls.

"Bite me, Moose," Cheryl hisses.

0It's one of the new school rules, Cheryl, all physical contact must be kept to a minimum," Kev says. I roll my eyes as Jug wraps his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him to spite the boys.

"Well, that doesn't make any sense," Toni says, "There haven't been any seizures for weeks, and everything tested has come back negative." She has a point. Nothing was wrong with the school or anyone in it. The seizures just seemed to be a passing craze.

"The RROTC doesn't make the rules, Toni," Kev says.

"No, you just enforce them like the crypto-fascists you are," Cheryl says, "Come on, T.T." Instead of stopping by us Cheryl and Toni March past. I scoff loudly. They held such a grudge against Jug specifically. She could bite me cause all we wanted to do was keep Archie safe.

"I'm about over their stupid pissy act," I say as I turn to Jug. "Cheryl's being completely insufferable as of late. And as much as I care about them I want to rip em to shreds."

"Relax babe," he says looking down at me. His face finally looking normal and no longer as worn as it was on the road.

"I can't," I sigh, "between them and Archie all I can do is worry about everything."

"Let's get you down to the art room," he says to me, "you need to calm down and I haven't seen you paint in a while."

"Of course," I say smiling to him, "I haven't done much since my art project last year with the paintings of everyone."

"Then lets go," he leads us down to the art room. My current project sitting on one of the drying racks. It's a painting of one of the picture I took on the road of Archie, Jug, and I. Deep into painting my mind whorls. He takes him dragging me to the rest of my classes for me to leave. Soon the day was over and I drag him over to mine and Archie's house. Once getting down to my room I collapse onto my bed. "Who would of known disappearing for a month would rack up so much homework," He laughs. I sigh we still were making up most of the tests and work we missed while running away. When we got back Weatherbee pulled us into his office gave us the work and sent us to detention for a whole week. He's reasoning being truancy and this or that. But in reality it was more of him punishing us for running away seeing as he knows no one else will.
