"I didn't know I was sharing my girlfriend," I hear in a joking tone. I open my eyes to see Betty with her arms around me cuddling into my chest. I chuckle slightly as I look to the source of the comment. Catching as Jug looks at us. "I don't like sharing my girlfriend."

"Betts," I say shaking her slightly. She opens her eyes slowly. Once realizing the situation she pulls back with a bright red face.

"Sorry," She says then looks up to Jug.

"I should go get ready," she says.

"Meet us by my truck and I'll give you a ride," I tell her as she pulls herself out of bed and rushes out. Leaving Jug and me alone in my room as he smirks at me.

"What was that about?" He asks me.

"She was having a hard time with her mom," I say to him, "I let her stay over. I guess she's a cuddler." He nods.

"Well good morning," He says to me, "let's go we need to get to school. You have that art project to work on. We gotta her Archie back up to date with everything."

"Alright Alright," I say as I climb out of bed and move towards my dresser. I yank out a stripped shirt of different reds and whites and blues then pull that on with a pair of high waisted jeans.

"What do you think is gonna happen with Archie?" Jug asks. I shrug.

"I don't really know," I say to him, "he never really was the most school orientated person. So this is gonna be a really big change for him."

"I'm afraid there isn't going to be any catching up for him," Jug says, "I think at this point he's behind in credits he'll be a sophomore again."

"That's gonna suck," I say to Jug, "But he could always do summer school." As I finish getting ready we run upstairs and collect some breakfast bars out of my stash. "Archie if you want a ride let's go!"

"I'm coming I'm coming," he yells running down the steps with his backpack in hand. I grab mine and my purse as Jug grabs my coffee mug.

"Everyone got everything?" I ask them. They nod and we rush out the door to my truck we're Betty was waiting calmly. All of us pile in and I start the way towards the school. The cd I have on playing a mix of loud rock as Betty cringes in the back. I turn in down but the screaming still could be heard.

"How do you drive while listening to that?" Betty asks from behind me. I check my mirrors and keep moving.

"Well you see I work better with loud music in pretty much any task," I tell her, "just my natural instincts maybe? I don't know. I guess it helps that when I learned to drive it was Adam who taught me for the most part and he blasted old school rock." The conversation moves to some SAT practice which honestly I don't have the energy to talk about. Once in the school, we all separate to our own classes.

After hours of the mind-numbing day, we learn Weatherbee suggested Archie should stay behind and repeat his junior year. In an attempt to prevent that the four of us decided to get him through some studying. So as we all sprawl out in Archie's room we all attempt to help him study. But with the practice tests and the flash cards, he just doesn't seem to get it. Something just isn't clicking inside him and he clearly is going to need a lot of extra help.
