It was the 2nd of May in 1997, her sixteenth birthday. 'Her' being Luna Lovegood of course. She never received gifts from her father, Xenophlilius Lovegood. Writing for The Quibbler meant he never got the money he deserved.
Our futures are woven in such intricate ways that they're impossible to predict. Though Luna couldn't contain the divine curiousness that took over her, as Harry and Hermione led the way towards the Forbidden Forest.
Her bag jangled as she skipped along. The sudden soft smell of pine trees soothed her.
Ahead, Harry and Hermione pushed through the foliage while Luna strayed behind; being careful not to harm the wise old trees or hidden creatures that dwelled there.
A sharp ripping sound distracted all three of them.
'You needn't worry. I just caught my robes on this unfortunate tree.' Luna told them once she'd realised what had happened. The two nodded and beckoned her to carry on. After sincerely apologising to the sapling, she did so.

So she started turning the time turner.
At nine turns Luna realised that she'd gone into a daze as Harry was waving his hands, frantically, in front of her.
'Yes Harry?'
'Luna, stop! You've gone over!'
'Take it off, now, or you'll go too far back in time!' Hermione pleaded.
'But you said to turn the time turner eleven times?'
'No, I said seven. Oh dear. Quickly, let me get it off.'
Although, before Hermione could get the contraption off, Luna had vanished, the last she heard was the shrill scream of Hermione.
Everything seemed to collapse as Luna tried to remove the time turner. The world began to transform into golden liquids. This was followed by the blank view of crispy white nothingness...
