Matthew?!

"But Matthew doesn't have a beard," Adrien noted. "Nor does he have short green hair. I've seen Matthew before, and I know his hair is long and brown."

"Quit lying to us!" Alya made a reach to grab onto her sweater, but Master Fu quickly stopped her.

"I'm not lying," Chloe chuckled. "But you can believe whatever you want to believe."

"Guys, were going nowhere with this!" Marinette folded her arms. "We need to take action. But think before we do it. We have to catch Matthew, after all he was one of the villains Chloe got out."

Chloe sighed. They tricked me! They said if I got them out, they would make Adrien fall for me. And whenever I'm in trouble, they would get me out. But I'm stuck, and yet they're doing nothing about it!

"Let's go guys," Nino exclaimed, leaving the room. He was tired of even being in the same room as Chloe. The girl was nothing but trouble.

The other three left along with them, leaving Master Fu to cover Chloe up again and got bring her some snacks.

"Where I be if I were Matthew?" Adrien looked around. "Maybe we should check the Eiffel tower first?"

"Adrien, no," Marinette lowered her head.

"Why not? The Eiffel tower is where we usually find the villains we need to find." Adrien looked back at Marinette, who looked up at him.

Adrien first found out his father was Hawk Moth, then his father fought him. Later on someone attacked him, hurting him so badly. We still don't even know who that person is, but I'm sure it's one of the villains.

And then he got caught by the needle. He's been through so much, I can't just let him off like that.

"It's fine," she smiled, or at least she tried to. "Alya and Nino can search for Matthew. Why don't we go to my bakery, and..."

"And plan your next date!" Alya blurted as she dragged Nino away. "Come on, Nino. Let's leave these two lovebirds alone."

"Marinette, are you worried?" Adrien asked as soon as they had ran off. "It's okay, I mean..."

"No, it's not okay!" Marinette yelled. "It's not okay and you know it! You've been getting hurt these times. Stop acting as if everything is okay and just accept that it isn't!"

Marinette's eyes went wide as soon as she realized what she had just said. "I mean. I want you to not get hurt all the time. I didn't mean it in a bad way."

"I understand. Let's go." Adrien took her hand. "Thanks."

"Why are you thinking me?" Marinette let him drag her away, still blushing as he held her hand more tightly.

"Because you're the first person that has ever worried about my health... Well, except for Nino," Adrien replied, not looking at her. "And you're right. I should take care of myself. I should stop acting all brave and let someone take care of me for once."

Too bad my father was not able to do this.

All around people whispered to each other and pointed at them. Omg, is that Marinette and Adrien? Ah, the superheroes of Paris. Are they dating now? They look so cute together.

Gah, stop looking, people. There's nothing to see here. Marinette realized that Adrien was walking faster, and she had to run a bit to catch up.

People tried taking pictures of them as they tried to run away, but unfortunately they were crowed with people who were taking pictures and asking questions.

"Marinette, Adrien, you have done so much for this Paris. Thank you "

"Are you two dating now? When did you guys start dating?"

"How were you two able to manage your superhero lives? Was it hard or easy? Is there a moment when you wanted to quit?"

Finally, they were bake to get away from the crowd. People walked by then, holding a sign that said "Adrien x Marinette, our two favorite superheroes."

"I'm sorry about this."

"What?" Marinette looked up at Adrien's sudden words. "Sorry about what?"

"You're uncomfortable, aren't you?" Adrien looked at her. "I could tell them to stop, if you want."

"It's fine. It's not that bad."

Adrien didn't reply as he continued walking. Then he stopped walking, and Marinette realized they were standing in front of Andrè, the ice cream man.

"Ice cream for our two favorite people," Andrè spoke as he handed them ice creams, knowing what their favourites were. "Don't worry, it's for free."

"No, it's fine," Adrian reached for his pocket.

"No, don't. I mean it. You can have it for free," Andrè smiled. He waved as the two walked away after saying a quick thanks.

"He's nice," Marinette spoke as she kicked her ice cream. "But Adrien, you aren't supposed to have ice cream. You want to get better, don't you?"

"Oh come on, it's not like I'm sick or anything," Adrien shrugged. "Besides, who could pass out on a great ice cream like this?"

Marinette giggled, knowing that he was right in some way. Finally she realized they were standing in front of her bakery.

Before any of them could open the door, Tom, from inside, opened it. He had a look of fear and was troubled.

"Marinette, Adrien."

"Papa, what is it?"

"Our bakery... Just got shut down..."
