Whats wrong?

Conner POV
It was dark. Like an endless void where light would never reach. But something else lurked with the infinite shadow. Something familiar. A voice rolled through the seas of Black only to grow with every passing second eventually growing into its own sea of voices.

Ah!

My body shot up out of instinct and I instantly regretted it. My head felt like dick had hit me with his batons like he used to do in sparring practice. I sat back down on the bed. Wait bed?
As I started to take in my surroundings I realized that I was in a small nurses office.

Ozpin: I would take it easy if I were you.

I looked to my right of my bed to see ozpin sitting in a chair. He had a slight smile as he sipped from his mug.

Ozpin: mr.rose.

That name....

conner: how do you know that name?

ozpin: i know a lot more than your name mr.rose.

conner: please stop that.

ozpin: stop what?

conner: calling me that name. It's not my name. at least not anymore.

ozpin: my apologies. i didn't mean to offend you. I'll refrain from using that name.

conner: thank you.

ozpin: now how are you feeling?

conner: my head kind of hurts but besides that im fine.

ozpin nodded and continued to drink from his mug with a look on his face that told me he was in deep thought. just like before initiation-INITIATION!

conner: wait where's my family? are they alright?

ozpin: ruby and yang are-

conner: not them! my real family! red hood, robin, red robin, batgirl.

ozpin had a look of confusion on his face.

ozpin: they're fine. they and along with all the other participants defeated the grimm. they're all resting in the dorms they were assigned.

conner: thank oum.

i fell back on the bed in relief. if anything would have happened to them i would have never forgiven myself.

conner: how'd i get here? I can't remember much.

ozpin reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a familiar black key. Handed it to me and started to remember.

ozpin: you were exposed to this. you had a reaction to it that caused you to fall unconscious. i didn't expect that to happen honestly.

conner: wait? you made sure i saw it on purpose, why?

ozpin: i would like to explain it to you but this is neither the right place nor right time. all in due time my boy.
