9. I could never take this loss!

His hand like as usual stopped in midway. He sighs closing his eyes

'Would I lose this child too? If I touch? Better let it be in her complete care! I couldn't keep neither Lu Yei nor Jing with me'.

His eyes turned teary remembering Jing. His scared face while undergoing the tests. Even though Tang Xi had never been there. Throughout the treatments, Jing's trust on his Dad..was too overwhelming and its because of her upbringing! He wonders 'what did she do? Jing never asked to take him home!'.

As far as he remembered, Jing would always ask for her! But not that time!

Tang Xi's part was commendable in raising him with all her love.

A part of him was still cursing him for doing that. But he had no choice! No matter what, she would have found the real reason, if I involved her in the process! I couldn't take risk.

His face turned solemn 'I would never lose her!'.

Tang Xi wakes up jerking Lu Cheng who was leaning to headboard. He just closed his eyes to sleep.

Lu Cheng blinks his eyes and gasps worried "What is it? Where is it hurting?!".

She looks around scared who felt that she just got escaped her death.

That dream really felt sooo real...

Would I have really left his hand?! As far as I know me, instead of falling from that height, I would have glued my hands to him! I would never take that stupid decision no matter what!. She recalls her stomach was bleeding and holds her stomach subconsciously.

Lu Cheng yells anxiously "Tang Xi!!".

He doesn't know why is she panicking and lost his sense seeing her holding her stomach!

No way! did I lost my last hope?! I can't lose neither of them! I want both! If I can't save this kid too...I could never take this loss!

Tang Xi is again dragged from her thoughts and her eyes fell on him. As soon as she saw him, she just throws herself on him in joy "Cheng!!".

Feng looks at Tianxian who was having his long face and chuckles "Don't tell me you are angry at me!?".

Tianxian says formally without even looking Feng "I can't get angry with my boss's friend. Excuse me". He goes out to attend a call leaving Feng alone.

Feng "..." Since when his words turned sharp!?

"TANG XI!!"

Both startled by Lu Cheng's sound.

Feng shakes his head and mutters while going upstairs "I don't know why he always loses his temper! What did he do this time!!".

How many times I had reminded him to keep his anger away!?

Feng stops seeing them "..." Why are they hugging? Didn't I hear his sound!?

Tianxian tugs Feng's hand slightly and mouths 'Move!' and goes out.

Lu Cheng is immensely surprised and rubs her back with a faint smile "I am here! Don't worry!".

Tang Xi is too happy and feeling so secured now. She is still clinging to him and really don't have any idea to leave him as for now.

She couldn't believe that he just appeared! Bran told he would take a week to return,right!?

For her, she just want to hug him without any end. She doesn't know how to be happy seeing him with her ..at this moment! She just wanted to stay there...

Lu Cheng frowns and feels her eyes wet "You must have scared!".

Tang Xi just nods and cries gasping "I was!".

He could feel her stomach bump on him and distances her from himself "Don't panic! I am not going anywhere!".

She pouts as if she was wronged "Then why are you pushing me aside?! Am I disturbing you? Lu Cheng! Can't you just be still at least now?! Didn't I say I was scared? Still you are doing this to me?! You! You always have been pretending! Why can't you pretend this time too!? For my sake at least?! Are you taking revenge for risking our kids' li-".

Lu Cheng presses her under him swiftly "Oh wife you are talking too much!".
