I love writing this story so much 🤓

After Tin left, Can felt like worse than shit. Is this what he really wanted? No but he felt like he needed to do this to clear his head. He couldn't run after him to call him back either even if he wanted to. He felt hopeless.

He doesn't know who sent him that picture of Tin together with Cherry, to be honest there have been a lot of weird happenings or coincidences lately and the last one the most serious one. Are they really just coincidences though? Can grabbed his hair and let out a loud groan.

"May i come in?" Pond asked stepping inside with a bag of fruits placing them on the bedside table.

"You already did." Can sighed laying on his back.

"Hey i heard about happened to you from Ae and came as soon as i could. How are you? How did this even happen?" Pond asked sounding genuinely concerned.

"I'm fine aside from the fact that i can't play football for god knows how long. I'm afraid the coach will kick me out of the team."

"No he can't do that, i'm sure Ae already informed him of what happened and he'll understand." Pond placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Oh hey and um how's your loverboy doing?" Pond asked wiggling his eyebrows.

Can's eyes went wide for a second but then he remembered what they posted which meant basically the whole school knew about them already. He thought back to that amazing weekend which made his heart hurt even more.

"Oh shit you okay? You look like you're about to cry." The taller said noticing the look on Can's face.

"I'm fine uh i mean he's fine we're fine." Can said forcing a smile on his face.

Pond only nodded not really believing his words but decided not to ask any further.

They talked about an hour or so. Discussing school, laughing about random things Pond has done. It made Can feel easy and forget the reality for a second.

The pretend reality came crashing down as soon as the door to his hospital room opened and Pete rushed in.

"Are you happy now? Pardon my french but what the fuck were you thinking?" Pete stood there not caring about the presence of Pond.

Can sat up abruptly thinking something happened to Tin. "What? Is Tin alright, did something happen to him?"

"Yeah no he's just all alone inside his house crying his goddamn eyes out if that's what you mean by alright while you're here laughing like nothing ever happened."

Pond in the background looked between the two and had no idea what the hell was going on. He thought it was not his place to interrupt so he quietly left.

"I..uh-"

"Save it, Can. I don't want to come off as rude but someone has to knock some sense into you, both of you actually. I don't know what's gotten into the people i love lately but this has to stop. Now we're going to talk until you realise what you did was extremely stupid." Pete said as he sat in fron of Can on a chair.

"Now first of all i want to know the reason why you did it?"

Can avoided the other's gaze feeling kind of embarrassed.

"I just..i'm tired Pete. Will our relationship with him be always with me questioning whether he still has some lingering feelings towards her even though he says he don't. I trust him i mean i should trust him but it's hard when that bitch is constantly around him. Today i just had enough, when i woke up i was glad that all of you guys were here but the person i needed to see the most was missing, i waited and waited and he still didn't come and that's when i recieved a text which changed everything."

"What text?" Pete asked carefully since Tin hadn't mentioned that.

Can took out his phone and handed it to Pete.

There was the same picture of Tin and Cherry sleeping attached with a text saying so that's what your lovely boyfriend does when you're not around."

It was from an unknown number and Pete gritted his teeth. He had an unnerving feeling about this situation which made him shiver.

"Have you gotten these kinds of weird texts before?"

"Um yeah once last week when we were on that date." Can admitted.

Pete took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a second, he might not be a detective but he's not dumb either not to know what this is.

"Do you not realise what's happening around both of you? You're obviously being manipulated and played with."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Can looked up with alerted eyes.

"Do you think you getting hit by that car was an accident? Because i clearly doubt it now. Do you remember anything before you blacked out?"

Can racked his brain when his eyes went wide and all the color drained from his face. How could he forget such a small but an important fact.

"Pete, i was pushed."

"Yes sir i think my friend is being assualted and clearly followed, he sadly can't be here because he got into a car accident yesterday but i don't think it was an accident i think he was pushed and that it is all the same person behind this." Pete told the detective as he sat inside the police office.

"Young man you do realise this is a very serious accusation? The fact that he might've been pushed lists under an attempt of murder."

"Yes i'm clearly aware and that's why i'm here, we don't know where this could lead to and we don't want to risk to find out."

"Alright but these are all assumptions at the moment, i need clear evidence to start an investigation." The detective said crossing his fingers on the table.

"I have screenshots of the texts that my friend was sent to and the unknown number also. Tomorrow i'll go ask our school's security to show me the footage when the accident happened."

"Okay that's great, you come back with the evidence and i'll be happy to start investigating then."

"Thank you so much sir." Pete said and stepped out of the office.

Those bitches have no idea what's coming to them.

Just you wait, mess with my friends and you'll get to see what i'm made of.

Pete knew exactly who the first person must've been behind this he just needed to figure out the other one.

Oh boy i'm on a roll, chapter after chapter 😅

Anyway stay tuned for the next chapter, no idea when i'll post it though 🤷
