Preaching the truth is absolutely important, but what is truth? Sadly,we have made tradition truth, and have fought tooth and nail to keep it alive, even to the point of hurting and harming others. The truth is Jesus! What did Jesus teach? He taught about the importance of being pure in heart, going the extra mile, doing good to your neighbor. He welcomed the unwanted and was gracious to the despised. Jesus showed us what the authentic love of God looks like. The truth is active; it's flesh and blood showing compassion and love to all. -obr
