Lauren's POV
I woke up in a white room. I felt something clinging to my side so I looked down and saw a sleeping Payton. "You're a fucking idiot," I heard a familiar voice say. I looked up and saw Camila, Dinah, Ally, and Normani. They were all here. Why?
"How much dumber can you get Lauren?" Dinah asked. "I know you lost your girlfriend, but you have a little girl to think of now. What were you thinking?"
I looked away. "I guess I wasn't."
"Yeah, apparently you weren't," Normani agreed.
"I'm sorry Okay," I replied. "I won't do it again. I promise."
That's when Payton woke up. "Mama?" She asked with hope filled eyes.
"Yeah, sweetie?" I asked.
"Why would you try to leave me like mommy?"
Tears filled my eyes. "I'm sorry. I won't do it again. I promise."
Payton smile sand hugged me tighter. And I kept that promise. Till the day I died.
