Annabelle's P.O.V
Walking into the coffee shop with the same aroma that filled the room brightened my smile. I've had this job for a year now, sometimes I just wished I had a better one, but sometimes I loved this job. I got out of college Two years ago after studying theatre arts but jobs are hard to come by in Scotland. I went through the back door to get my apron as a tall slim guy appeared behind me, he had the weirdest hair ever but it glows and I loved it. We've been friends since childhood and happened to get jobs here. The old lady Mrs Thompson was kind enough and allowed us work here together even though she only needed one person.
"Hey squirm, your smiling more than usual. Let me guess you got laid last night?" He raised an eyebrow with his annoying smirk plastered on his face.
"Oh shut it Jeremy, you know I went home alone last night." He smiled as his arm brushed mine lightly, he stretched upwards and took his apron without getting mine. I gave him a death glare
"What?" He asked smiling
"I thought you'd be polite enough to get mine too, you know not everyone is blessed with long legs dumb ass"
I crossed my arms with a little pout on my lips.
"Oh please get laid and I'll get that for you"
"No thanks" I rolled my eyes as I stood on my toes to get mine. He laughed at my failure, he brushed me aside and got it down for me showing off. I smiled grabbing it from him.I entered the counter curb to stirr my coffee, at least I got free coffee every morning, I tied my apron around my waist as I took a sip. The door bell jingled signalling the whole world we had a customer, I smiled as a tall guy walked in, he was the kind of guy girls would flip for, it was like the glow in his hair was connected to the sun, he's neck line was traced one after the other, he's amber eyes met mine immediately and he smiled, I watched his Adam's Apple go swiftly up and down as I swallowed a lump in my throat. He's broad shoulders were so firm and his tight shirt made his pacs a little bit visible. I was so lost that I didn't notice the hottest man on the planet walk up to me. I closed my eyes and opened them because I was sure my brain stopped functioning for a while. I've worked here for a year and I've seen other hot guys but this particular one was like a Greek God.
"Urmmm excuse me, are u attending to me?" he asked waving his hands across my face, my eyes followed his fingers, I wondered how many orgasms those huge hands could give me. I swallowed dryly at the thought of it.
"Oh sorry dear she's kinda in a trance with her dead ancestors, I'll take your order" I heard Jeremy say
"No!" I shouted and everyone turned to look at me, I sighed. "Sorry, I'll take your orders Jeremy you can go now".
"Okay I'll love an espresso please and is it okay I sit here, close to the counter?" he smiled.
God!! Sit in front of me?. I saw myself dead already.
"Yeah sure" I blurted out after forever. I ran to the back to catch my breath.
"Awwwwwwn sweetheart take it easy, he's fucking glorious!" Jeremy said with a smirk, I could see his gay eyes coming on for a flirt.
"Don't u dare flirt with him!" He laughed like he knew what I was going to say "Whatever pumpkin" he said leaving me.I took a deep breath and came out of the back with his espresso. He looked at me smiling, I smiled back awkwardly dropping his espresso in front of him. I turned back to clean God knows what just to keep myself busy else I'll be gawking at him and he'd disappear thinking am a weirdo.
"Urmm excuse me?" I heard his marvellous voice call my attention
"Yeah, do you need something else?"
I was acting matured now like I didn't drool when I saw him walk through that door.
"What do you think about a poem about nature or a poem about love, which touches the soul and heart more?"
I froze, did he really talk to me like a normal people's conversation, I licked my lips. I knew I wasn't hot hot but I could flirt a lot. It was like my talent.
"Well since love is an emotional feeling you know, it touches the heart and soul. When your in love its a sensational feeling that makes you do things you never meant to do, it's like your trapped in your own world". I kept my voice lowly seductive, twitching my lips and looking him in the eye.
"Woah, you literally gave me a good reason to write about love" he smiled. I had no idea I had entered my lecture zone but it was worth it.
"Sorry I zoned out, it happens"
"It was nice meeting you urmm--"
"Annabelle"
"Anna, see you around" he dropped his pay and a tip on the table. I watched him till he was out of sight then it hit me. I didn't even get his name oh shit!!.It was already 4pm that means closing time, as I packed to close the shop, I spotted something black on the counter seat. It was a black leather jacket and I knew just who had it, it was amber eyes guy because he was the only one who sat there today, no he was the first guy I saw sitting there since I started working there.
"Let me guess, he left his jacket?" Jeremy's voice ended my thoughts
"Yeah and I don't even know he's name or how to return it to him"
"Pumpkin you know anything lost here is taken to the shops lost and found at the back till the owners claimed them but why do u wanna return it to him"
"I just- it... Its" I stood speechless looking at him, he was very correct and I never cared about any cloths found until now. I tugged the jacket in my nose and his vanilla scent filled me. I felt like a powerful breeze swept me off my feet. This guy was getting on me more faster than anyone has.
"I'll just keep it in case he comes back, its too cute to go to off". I hung it on my arm as I locked the shop. Jeremy and I parted ways as I entered the street leading to my home, it was cold here in Scotland and I was freezing. I looked at the jacket on my arm but I nodded, I knew I shouldn't but I wanted too. My silliness took over me and I draped it over my shoulders, it was warm and cozy he's scent filled my nostrils. How can a guy smell so delicious even though he wasn't food. The thought of tasting him brought my lips out to lick my tongue, I was acting like a hungry guy now cus of some guy I didn't even know his name.Jerry's P.O.V
I was already late for work at the theatre but the smell of coffee filled my nostrils and I suddenly wanted one, besides I still needed a topic for the poetic theme this year and nature was seriously on my mind but still I thought love was a nice theme too. I entered the coffee shop immediately to clear my head at least. A ginger-haired girl stared at me with brown eyes, her plump lips parted a little showing a little of her dentition. Her ginger hair swayed over her shoulders showing off her cute features. She was beautiful, I walked up to her with a smile. After what seems like forever she opened her mouth to speak and her soothing voice drowned my ears but all I could do was smile. I didn't know what came over me but I had the urge to ask her about my theme title. She smiled at me as she convinced me to use the love theme, I watched her plump lips open and close and her eyes blink every time she spoke. She was charming and I noticed she talked too well. I smiled dropping my pay and a tip on the counter. Annabelle was just right for her and she reminded of someone too. I looked at my watch, if I don't go now I'll be very late, I left the coffee shop as I went down the street.
It was already 4pm after rehearsals and I needed to head home so I could finish my poem for the theme. I came out to the streets and a chilled wind ravaged my skin, I quickly rubbed my palms together then I remembered, I forgot my jacket in the coffee shop. I smiled at the thought of the coffee shop, Anna must have seen it, I decided to go home then I'll get it from her the next day, off course it wasn't because of the fact that I was lazy to go but because I wanted to see her tomorrow morning again, something about her smile lightened my heart. I walked into my home thinking about her, her voice was soothing and her words were amazing.
