*A Year Later*
Alexis' POV
I woke up and showered. I got dressed in a black skater skirt and a red short sleeve crop top with a black leather vest. "Okay," I said. As I was doing my makeup, I started think about Sam and our breakup that happened back in August.
----------
FLASHBACK
"Alexis," said Sam walking into the Talon.
"Sam," I said. "What's up?"
"Are you working?" asked Sam.
"Not at the moment but you'll be my first customer if you want anything," I said.
"Can I talk with you privately?" asked Sam.
"Yeah," I said. I took him up to the apartment above the Talon and closed the door. "What's going on?" I crossed my arms. "Would you mind telling me why you're here?"
"Alexis, I want you to have a normal life," said Sam. "I can't keep going on cases leaving you here."
"Sam," I said.
"Alexis, this is where it ends," said Sam. He hugged me. "I'm sorry it has to end this way."
"Sam," I said letting go of him. "I understand. Go do your case." Sam left as I let the tears fall. "It's over."
----------
"Alexis," said Oliver knocking on the door.
"Just a sec," I said. Oliver was there through the whole break up situatuon with Sam. "Just give me a few." Oliver and I started National Corporates against LuthorCorp a month after I the breakup. Then, in November, we started dating. "I'm done." I grabbed my phone and put on my belt. I put my badge in my pocket on the inside of my vest. "Okay." I opened the door and there stood Oliver. "Hey."
"Hi," said Oliver giving me a kiss.
"Did Chloe contact you?" I asked.
"We need to go to Watch Tower," said Oliver. We went to Watch Tower together and walked inside. "Chloe, what is it this time?"
"There's a case file that Metro PD won't give me," said Chloe. "I need you to go and get it."
"I can't buy case files," said Oliver. "So if by you, you mean her, then it's legal."
"No offense but what normal town girl can beat a billionaire?" asked Chloe.
"FBI," I said. "I'll be back." I to Metropolis Police Department and walked inside. I walked up to the counter. "Excuse me." I showed my badge. "Copy of the case file please."
"Working alone?" asked the officer handing me the file.
"For now," I said looking through the file. "Thank you." I grabbed the file and left. I went back to Watch Tower and handed Chloe the file. "I now see why they didn't digitalize the file."
Blake's POV
I drove my car (Alexis gave me her old car) to the Talon. I walked inside. "Lana," I said. "Has Alexis been by?"
"Not for the past week," said Lana. "Doesn't she turn twenty three in two months?"
"Jonnie is driving her to Quantico along with us since we have a tour starting in DC," I said.
"She's spending time with Oliver," said Lana.
"I know he's been there for her when Sam left," I said. "As much as I want Alexis back, I gotta be happy for her." Dean busted through the back and started panting. "Did you run a marathon?"
"Dean," said Sam walking through the front.
"Damn," said Dean. "That dead chick can run!"
"Dean?" I asked.
"It's a case," said Dean. "What the hell were you thinking, Sammy?"
"What?" asked Sam.
"She was a demon," said Dean. "We want then dead, they want us dead."
"Was Alexis with you?" I asked.
"No, but if you see her, tell her we need her help," said Sam. "She's not answering my calls."
"Join the club, buddy," I said. "She's not answering mine either." I looked at Sam. "I'll tell her when I see her for sure."
