Jane ran into the room where Nonso and I were. "Like come fast fast mbok. Something tragic has happened." I stood up and ran out of the room with Nonso by my side.

I got to my room to see Jane standing." So what's the tragic thing?" I said with my heart beating fast.

Jane scratched the back of her head. "I forgot my pad at home so I want yours." She said smiling sheepishly. Nonso hissed and left the room. I groaned and walked towards my drawer. Jane can be a drama queen at times. In fact, she's a drama queen half of the time. I actually thought something bad happened.

We woke up to screaming. When I say we, I mean Jane and I. I opened one of my eyes to see Uju jumping and clapping her hands. How was she here so early! I turned towards my alarm clock to see 10:25am. Okay that's why she's early. But it's midterm for crying out loud. We are supposed to sleep in. I turned to look at Jane who was glaring at Uju with all her power and might.

"Why are you now screaming now?" I groaned.

"Common shut up there. You didn't tell me Jane was around! How heartless could you be? Ehn! Oluchukwu!" She said feigning anger. Yay! Another mad person I call my friend.

Jane jumped on her. Totally forgotting she was on her period and she has to bath. Jane was one person I know that doesn't have period pains.

"Uju I've missed you so much." Jane gushed while pinching Uju's cheeks.

"I know I know I've missed you too but please go and brush your teeth. Don't kill me this early morning biko." I chuckled while Jane glared at Uju while using her hand to see if her mouth was really smelling.

I got up and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth too before Jane joined me.

"So Jane when did you come? Just wait till Bukky gets here. And you, Oluchi, you've not been picking your calls or even chatting. Why do you now have the phone if you're not going to use it ehn? You just come online for like 10 minutes and run away till the next day." I'm already having headache with just less than 20 minutes of this girl's arrival and she's staying over till Friday. I'm going to fall sick even Jane was obviously tired because I heard her sighing deeply beside me.

"Oya sorry ma. I'll reply your messages now. WhatsApp is not my thing and you know besides I have too many messages and they just discourage me." I said looking at her with an apologetic look.

"Yeah whatever. I'm hungry jare. I saw Agnes leaving the kitchen. I'm sure she's the one that made food and I stand for Agnes' food anytime, any day so let's go fast fast." Uju said pulling my hands.

"Wait let me have my bath and come down." Jane said going towards my closet.

I got downstairs together with a hyperactive Uju to get our food. Nonso was already sitting at the table with my sister and her friends that I know are going back today; probably in the evening. I sat down on one end of Nonso, Uju say down on the other. Agnes served fried rice and chicken.

About 5 minutes into our breakfast, Jane waltzed in like the madam she is. She sat down beside me and took a large chunk of food. Everyone's eyes widened.

"What? My baby is hungry!" She said taking one large spoon of the rice. I know what she means by her baby tho. She eats like a pregnant woman during her time of the month. Since my mom wasn't at the table, we all talked, laughed. The table was extremely noisy.

After breakfast, I left Jane and Uju to do some catch up while I went to talk to Nonso. We decided to watch Monday night RAW that I missed.

Oh wrestling. My first love. I love love love Ronda Rousey.

After about two hours, I heard squealing and screaming. I just knew Bully had come. I quickly pecked Nonso and ran out of his room.

I got to my room to see Bukky hugging and re-hugging Jane. She looked like she ran a marathon race.

"So Oluchi you didn't tell me that Jane was around abi?" She screamed coming towards me like she was going to cut my head off.

"Sorry now. I wanted it to be a surprise. But you know now nah. Fine girl." I said raising my eyebrows and trying to hype her a little.

"Go away jor. Jane are you coming back to CHS?" Bukky asked sitting down on the couch in my room.

"Probably in our senior year. I'm still trying to persuade my parents. Anyway Aunty Awele will help talk to my mom." Yeah Aunty Awele is my mom.

"I just pray it works out. By the way, I saw your picture on Zainab's status oh Lulu." Bukky said turning her gaze towards me. "Are you guys cool now?"

"No we are not. She has just stopped her bitchy attitude which I'm grateful for but no I'm not cool with her yet." They all nodded in understanding. I'm so sure the remaining part of my midterm will be so nice.

"So let's plan how we are going to spend the remaining two days. Tomorrow we'll go out to the movies, then games, then ShopRite and maybe coldstone. Oh! I forgot Domino's too. I need pizza in my life right now." Uju ranted as we all watched her. "What nah? I'm just giving suggestions."

"No baby girl. How will we do all these in one day? With this heavy Lagos traffic? So lass lass you've not still upgraded your sense abi?" Jane said raising one of her eyebrows. Finally we have seen Uju's match. Uju immediately kept quiet with a scowl on her face.

"I'll ignore your rude remarks." Uni hissed while Jane snickered.

"Seriously tho. Okay we will plan that later. Oluchi let's go and swim nah. Shebi you guys swimming pool is still alive?" Bukky said using her hands to fan herself. The air conditioner in my room was working very well.

"Yes now. You're lucky they cleaned it today after Amara and her friends nearly destroyed the place yesterday." Jane said. "Lu give me one of your swimsuits now. I didn't bring mine."

"That's what you're always saying everytime you come over. You're annoying!" I walked towards my closet to my underwear drawer to bring out swimsuits. I know Uju didn't bring too; they do that alot so they can steal mine and never return them again.

I picked my favorite swimsuit. It was a white and black one piece swimsuit.

We all got to the pool and to say the sun was hot was an understatement. The swimming pool was located at another corner of my compound. Someone that hasn't been to my house before won't know we have a swimming pool. It was shaped like an 'o'; O for my surname; okpuno. The next few hours passed by quickly that it was bearly noticable.

After dinner, we all had our baths, got to our room and decided to watch a series for the night. About 20 minutes into the first episode, we heard noise downstairs, it sounded like someone broke into the house. Then I realized I was home alone with my friends and my sister and probably Nonso that didn't come down for dinner. We paused our movie and tip toed gently down the stairs. I saw the shadow of the person.

Yo! I'm here again with my wahala. I know I didn't end this chapter well. So who do you guys think is in the kitchen?

I've decided to be updating more often so I can finish this book quickly. Yeah you can say I want to get rid of it.
