It’s been a week since I’ve decided to do my work at home for a little while. But it’s hard to do having to take care of Mackenzie at the same time. Christina and the girls come by to help me out sometimes but let’s face it she doesn’t like random people cleaning her butt. I’ve watched and all she does is cry when someone beside me or Tobias changes her with an exception of Lyndsay. So I’ve put off my school work to take care of her.
“Tris do you want to get her so you can do your work?” Lillian asks. I shake my head and she gives me a serious look and sits on the edge of my bed.
“You really need to work on it. At least do it while she’s asleep.” She says looking at her. I didn’t realize she was asleep. I nod my head and get my books and stuff.
“Will you help me? Since Four isn’t here and all.” She nods and we get to work. An hour later we are about done then Mackenzie wakes up but doesn’t cry. I take this opportunity to finish my work. She looks around for a while then her eyes land on my open door and she starts to get fussy. I look at the door and see Tobias. I smile at his and he smiles back. He goes to pick her up but Lilly smacks his hand.
“No no. leave her. She’s not crying right now.” Lilly says. Tobias gives her a look and before he can speak I do.
“Four.” I warn. He groans and sits on the bed beside our now content daughter and starts playing with her. I look at Lillian.
“He knows what he doing.” I tell her. She nods and we continue working. My alarm goes off telling me I need to feed Mackenzie. I grab her from Tobias and lift my shirt and feed her. I honestly don’t like this that much I rather have a plastic thing drain me into a bottle then the breast to mouth thing but I don’t feel like getting it. When she’s done I hand her back to Tobias and he burps her. I continue to do my work when my room door flies open. A loud Uriah comes through the door with Christina right behind.
“WE HAVE YOUR WORK.” he yells I groan and look at Christina. She shrugs and hands me the work.
“Counselor said bring it all in next week. And Ms. Tori said that she wants you two to come in to practice for the talent thingy.” Christina says pointing to Tobias and I. Tobias gives her a weird look.
“But I don’t go to that school anymore.” He says and Christina just shrugs.
“That’s what Tori told me. And she also wants you next week.” We both groan and fall back on our pillows. Christina walks over to Tobias’s side and picks up Mackenzie.
“Hey there little cutie.” She says and taps her nose. Mackenzie scrunches her nose up then just stairs at her.
“She does that same thing you do with your noes except she’s not blushing.” I roll my eyes and continue working on this stuff that’s due next week. Uriah and Christina leave after a while and I get tired of doing homework so I stop and get a bath.
“Hey Lyndsay will you watch her for a few.” I hear Tobias ask.
“sure.” She says and Tobias then enters the bathroom and strips.
“So you weren’t kidding about this being a thing when your home” I say. He smirks at me and gets in. after a while of relaxing and talking we get out get dressed and go to sleep with a clean and non-hungry Mackenzie in between us.
