My team will be playing Game Four of the Finals tonight. If we win this game, our team will be declared champion for this season.

Yes, we made a 3-0 sweep... and although I don't want to brag... I know that I am a big part of why our team is enjoying this advantage. My coach and team mates were more than happy with my performance that they've been raving about me bagging the rookie of the year and MVP award tonight during the awarding ceremony making me feel elated and grateful for the recognition.

But to be quite honest, my great performance during that game was not all me. They should give credit to this petite woman sleeping soundly beside me for that feat. She's been giving me more than enough inspiration to boost my morale on each and every game since the day she arrived. And I've been loving every second of it... although it could get quite exhausting sometimes...

Flashback...

I am literally on fire tonight. The knowledge that my Yue is watching the game live, pumps me up so hard that I've been scoring points after points from every angle. I could see her cheering by the sidelines in my peripheral vision, that I can't help but smile to myself while playing the best game of my life. I even threw her an imaginary kiss when I got near her seat which was fortunately caught on cam and was played on repeat for a few times with heart animation on screens scattered all through out the arena, making my fans scream in giddiness. I guess Yue's charm captured their hearts too... it makes me proud.

We won the game... with me having triple-doubles... scoring 58 of our team's 104 game points. Giving out 12 assists and grabbing 22 rebounds... it is indeed my best game of the season. My coach and team mates congratulated me for a job well done earning me high fives and pats on the back from everyone, that I can't help but beam with pride.

Then suddenly the rowdy crowd in the dug out went silent. Their attention caught by that lovely woman standing shyly by the entrance...

My Yue was like an apparition standing there... her face a little sweaty from all that cheering she did earlier. Her incredible smile lighting up her face. I caught her in mid air as she ran... hauling herself against me. Her arms encircling my neck... as I pulled her by the waist for support as we held each other in a tight embrace.
Her face buried in my neck...as I savored the floral scent of her hair.

"You did great baobei...." I heard her mumble not bothering to change her position.

"It's all because of you babe... you inspired me." I whispered back tightening my hold on her, while she snuggled herself closer... as we drifted off to our own little world unmindful of the cheers and teasing of the people surrounding us.

Yue and I immediately ran off to get our much needed privacy, after I briefly introduced her to my coach and the whole team who were teasing us non-stop after our overly intimate public display of affection earlier.

We initially stopped by my favorite hotpot restaurant to eat... where we agreed that it would be best if she stayed at my place for the rest of her vacation, before I drove her to the Beijing Nuo Hotel so she could check out and pick up her things. After settling her accomodation and  loading her luggage to the trunk of my car, we finally get to drive home to my flat.

We are settled in comfortable silence during the ride. With Yue's hands enclosed in my free hand... my thumb drawing circles on her knuckles... a faint smile painted on her lips while our eyes are focused on the road ahead of us.
