it's been a few weeks since daniel and corbyn had moved into their apartment. not everything is perfect yet, but it will be soon.

they're back in school too. they spent christmas together with zach, jack and jonah. overall it was perfect.

on new years it was just the two of them. it was amazing. daniel made dinner for them, they danced, cuddled. but they waited for that moment when the clock struck twelve for a kiss that day. it was hard, but they managed to do it, and boy was it worth it.

"daniel, do we have to go into school today?" corbyn whines as he runs a hand through his hair.

"babe, it's monday. the school week hasn't even started," daniel chuckles.

"that's exactly my point," corbyn says. he takes a seat on their gray couch, letting out a sigh.

"don't you ever wonder what it would be like to just spend our lives together; live life while we're young; go places and explore the world; all without the worry of school? i know school is important, but there are so many things that you can do without it."

daniel smiles as he watches corbyn. he walks over to him and pulls the boy up, wrapping his arms around his waist.

"corbyn, you're right. there is so many things that you can do without school. but even if we did leave, wouldn't you at least want to do online school?" daniel asks.

corbyn looks up at him, placing his hands on the brunette's chest.

"yeah," he mumbles. he rests his head on daniel's chest, humming contently as the boy runs his fingers through his hair.

"is that what you want to do? because i know that public school makes you stressed and anxious, so if it is what you want to do then we can do it. anything to make you happy," daniel says, his voice barely above a whisper.

"but do you want to do it, dani? you matter too," corbyn replies, looking into daniel's eyes.

"if i'm honest, yes. i have for a while now. the thought of online school just makes it seem so much easier," daniel admits.

"what about your parents? would they be okay with it?" corbyn asks.

daniel only nods his head, smiling and pecking corbyn's lips.

"i love how our lives have changed since we've met each other. it's all for the better though, and i wouldn't have it any other way," daniel says.

"me too," corbyn smiles. he connects their lips again, but this time for much longer. when they pull away, smiles on their faces, they feel content. content with how their lives have changed. content with each other.
