As your eyes fluttered open on the summers morning, you saw that your phone was flashing with notifications. They were all from Murr, your boyfriend. You smiled softly at the sight of his name, then unlocked your phone to read the messages.
Murr: Hey Janice!! Are you free tonight, around 8pm?? xxxx
You: sure, why? xxx
Murr: its a surprise ☺️💗 xxx
Murr: wear something nice and I'll pick you up! Xxx

You placed your phone back down on the side and fell back asleep.

Throughout the day, your mind was racing with millions of ideas as to what Murr was doing! He wouldn't tell you, and your were pretty surprised he would want to take you out tonight. Especially as it was his punishment day, too!
When the afternoon turned into the evening, you thought it would be best to get ready. He asked you to look nice, so you presumed he was taking you out for dinner. With that, you wore your back knee- length dress and wore your hair down. You looked in the mirror and smiled sufficiently.
At exactly 8pm, Murr arrived. You opened the door to see him dressed smartly in a tux and holding a bunch of flowers.
"You look... stunning" he said as his jaw practically dropped to the floor. You felt you cheeks lightly blush as you smiled to him, which caused him to smile cutely back. "I got you some flowers" he said as he placed them into your hand. You grabbed the flowers and placed them on the side, as you followed him to his car.
"One condition, before you get in" he said.
"What is it?" You asked cautiously.
"You have to wear this" he said with a smirk as e pulled out a blindfold.
"What? Why?" You asked with a slight laugh.
"You'll ruin the surprise" he said. "Please?" He begged.
"Fine" you said as you wrapped it over your eyes.

After a short journey, Murr helped you out of the car. He held onto your hands to guide you.
"Where are we going?" You asked.
"Janice, trust me" he said, then suddenly you stopped. "You ready?" He asked as he took off your blindfold. You couldn't believe the sight in front of you. There were fairly lights dangling across the rooftops. There was a beautiful sight of New York in front of you, and Murr set up some candles around a blanket for your dinner.
"It's... gorgeous" you said with a smile as you took in the sights around you.
"Just like you" he said as you both stared into each other's eyes.
"C'mon" Murr said, interrupting the feeling you both had. He grabbed your hand and led you to the candle lit dinner. As the full moon shone brightly down on you both, you realised how much you really did love Murr- you loved him more than you thought it was possible to love someone.
"I love you" you said to him, as his arms slowly wrapped around you.
"I love you too" he whispered as his soft lips soon connected to yours, as you felt fireworks explode around you.
