Joes Punishment

"Alright Joey- step into the haunted house!" Sal chirp-fully announces into his ear piece.
"What Joe doesn't know is that he won't be alone in there" Q mysteriously said to the camera. "Let's just day we have a few props to keep him company" He added.

Joe took a few dreaded steps along the haunted house. He was pretty fearless- and everything that jumped out on him didn't startle him much. As he made his way along the long corridor, he heard a few soft cries.

He looked around slightly puzzled.
"Hello?" He asked, but there was no answer. He began to presume it was part of the show- but it wasn't. He saw a girl crouched on the floor, back against the wall, crying. He rushed over to her and sat by her side.
"Are you okay??" He asked, genuinely concerned about her.
"I'm just... scared, that's all" she softly said as she wiped away a few tears.
"Don't worry, I'll look after you" Joe whispered to her as he held her in his arms. As there eyes met, they both shared a feeling they have never shared before...
