chapter 4

you're walking along the halls of the trancy manor, wondering on what else to do, until you decide to walk into the dining room for no reason.

that was when you see that spider Butler on a ledge doing some type of weird feet stomping dance. then to your surprise he threw his spectacles into the air and leapt off the ledge onto the chandelier and onto the ground, taking the carpet into his grip and flinging the entire table and chairs into the air. from there, he changes just about EVERYTHING in that room. walls, floors, table set, table cover... everything! everything within the flash of an eye! all while he was in mid-air! once he lands, his glasses fall right onto his face. then he rehearses the trancy Butler motto:

"Day into night, sugar into salt, living to dead, and silver into gold. That's what makes a Trancy butler."

impressive. "mmroaw." you rumbled blankly. of course he just gives you a dirty look and you return it. what, no thank you? it was a complement! "grroooawl!" you asked. he narrowed his eyes at you and makes a slight growling sound. "isn't he magnificent, (name)?" that cheerful voice chirped. you both turn to the source and sure enough, master trancy was at the table holding 2 roses. "that's my claude!" he chirps. "with you two, I don't need those other useless creatures. one thing?" he then places a rose into claude's mouth then walks over to you. "I prefer to display my roses like this!" he said, holding a rose in front of you, in which you take hold of it into your mouth. he then claps his hands and holds a hand out to you. you instinctively rear up onto your hind legs and wrap your arms around him and engaging into a brief bit of tango. after a bit, you dip him and he claps. "ole!" he exclaims and you release him from his grip. with that, he skips off giggling giddily. he twirls and stops suddenly. his face then darkens

run that by me one last time? "mmuuroow?" you meowed as alois fondled and squished your cheeks. "my uncle Arnold is coming over today." he said. "he doubts my true identity.. and is only after my money." he hissed gripping your cheeks tightly. ow. "aow." you uttered. ignoring your discomfort, he rose to his feet. "no matter. I'll show that old man who I am. now then, (name)." he said looking straight at you. "I want you to follow every command very carefully. no slip ups! understand?" he ordered firmly. you simply bow your head. yes, your highness. "Grraaaoow." you deeply meowed, earning a giggle from trancy. "good girl! now then! get into position! and don't appear until I tell you." he said, pointing somewhere. you nod and turn and go to hide as he dashes towards the front door.
