King Ben stood and began to speak "I know that tonight you were expecting us to have a lot of boring announcements. but not this time. we want this first night to be fun! we will have all of your class schedules and announcements sent to your rooms tomorrow in the morning. we're going to celebrate! let the REAL Party Begin!" Ben said smiling
All of a sudden with a whoosh all of the tables were gone, the food was picked up and everyone began to dance normally. it was an actual party. Mal ran over quickly once she spotted Gwen and Yuri. "Gwen! Yuri! It's so nice to have you guys here! Sorry if it's kind of boring compared to the Isle," Mal said smiling
"Eh, I think things are just about to get interesting," Gwen said smiling "I'm glad," She said "I'm grateful for this opportunity," Yuri said smiling "Just don't worry too much. After this semester if you still want to be bad and live in the Isle it's up to you! don't stress anything too much, and I'm always around if you need me, even if I'm busy with Royal stuff. it's annoying sometimes. but that's what I get for loving a King," Mal said smiling
"Oh it looks like I've got to go back. Talk to you guys later?" Mal said and they nodded and she went back over to Ben and all of the teachers. Pretty soon it was a slow song. "Do you...." Gwen asked "Yeah, I'll teach you," Yuri said
Yuri taught Gwen how to slow dance and then they began to talk "You're really getting the hang of this fast!" Yuri said "Well I have a good teacher," Gwen said smiling "I can't believe we're doing this, in Auradon." Yuri said
"It was very unexpected," Gwen said smiling "Yeah I know right? and who knows what's going to happen," Yuri said "I don't know maybe things will be nice, like kind of chill," Gwen said sarcastically "Yeah maybe it will!" Yuri said smiling
She didn't want to burst his bubble so she let him go on believing that. Once they stopped slow dancing they met up with Lila and Tilly and danced around. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad being in Auradon after all....
