Gwen didn't get home until late that night. She loved talking with Yuri. He was the only person who seemed to actually GET her. Not too many people cared for small talk in the Isle. She woke up to her Mother rushing to her room crying.
"Honey, pack your bags, You're going to..... Auradon.... My baby is going to turn good! how did it come to this!" Mother gothel sobbed "Mom, What are you talking about?" She said laughing her mom handed her a letter :
Dear Gwen Gothel, King Ben has asked that you start this semester at Auradon Prep. we request you be ready by sundown to go to the school. Sincerely Yours, the Kingdom of Auradon
"Well I guess I'm going, what else can I do?" Gwen said her mother remained silent "I said what else can I do?!? like a question! Mom you can't send me there alone!" Gwen yelled "Just go say goodbye to that kid you're always with," Mother gothel said sending her daughter off.
She packed her things and threw it by the door then ran through the crowds around the streets talking about all of the things happening.
Mostly a lot of worthless gossip. "YURI!!!!" Gwen yelled as she started banging on his window but he wasn't opening the window.
She ran to the treehouse to see if he was there. and sure enough he was. He was sitting on the ground in the middle holding a piece of paper.
"Yuri!" Gwen said excitedly she was glad he was there. "Gwen, I don't know what to tell you. I'm going to Auradon. I don't know whether to be excited or scared to be going alone," Yuri said getting up and giving Gwen a hug.
"I'm going too loser," She said smiling "Really?!? That's great news!" He said smiling brightly "I'm glad I'm not the only one," She said
"How is your mom handling the news?" He asked "Not too well. Yours?" She asked "She's never been happier." Yuri said "What?!?" Gwen asked seeming really shocked
"She thinks that going with you will make me more 'evil' but I don't want to be evil," He said "Will you still hang out with me even if you're all soft?" Gwen said
"Of course! I can't leave my best friend," Yuri said "I'm glad, I can't lose my only friend," Gwen said smiling "I guess we'd better go say goodbye to the Isle," Gwen said
"Ok," "Can we go steal some new clothes for the school year?" Gwen begged "Not a chance," Yuri said "I thought you couldn't say no to me," Gwen said putting her hand on her hip.
"Maybe I am a little dishonest," Yuri said smirking "That's my boy," Gwen said and so they went into town to say goodbye to all of their favorite places.
Then pretty soon the long limo pulled up with some bodyguards. There was another kid in the car with them but they didn't recognize her.
"Oh, it's nice to meet you, I'm Yuri, this is my friend Gwen," Yuri said holding out his hand for a handshake "Not a chance, we're not going to be friends. I'm only going because my brother is already at Auradon. I thought I had escaped that prison of niceness. My twin ratted me out," The girl said looking at the ground
"Who's your parent?" Gwen asked "Tiana," She said looking up "Ooh, that's rough," Gwen said "Try having Yzma as a mother. She always gets mad that she isn't as recognized as the other villians," Yuri said
"At least she's evil at all," The girl said smiling slightly "the Names Tilly," she said shaking Yuri's hand "You seem pretty nice for a VK," Tilly said
"He's nothing like his mom," Gwen said "What about you? Are you more of a VK?" Tilly asked "Heck yes! Long live evil!" Gwen said smiling
"Long live evil," Tilly said fistbumping Gwen "I like this kid!" Gwen said smiling "At least things will be more interesting my first year at Auradon Prep," Tilly said smiling
