Gwen was sitting in her favorite spot in all of the Isle of the Lost. Her tree house. she had built it when she was very little. She loved finding new things to put up there. "Perfect!" She said as she picked up a small lamp resembling the lamp from aladdin.
She ran back to her treehouse and put it on her table of treasures. she climbed back down. it was getting late and her mom always got on her case about being late. she could be pretty possessive since the whole thing with Rapunzel.
"Hey Mom," She said as she came inside and she sat at the table "You're late," Her mother said giving her a dirty look "You know what I always say..." She began "Mother knows best, I know. Mom you've given me this speech a million times. I'm 16 now! I can take care of myself," Gwen said as she picked at her food.
"I just get worried. can you blame me? My evil little darling I couldn't imagine you getting hurt," Mother Gothel said as she sat down. "Hey Can I go out tonight? I want to go see if Yuri is up for a run?" Gwen begged
"Fine, just be careful," She replied "You're the worst!" "No you are," Gwen grabbed her jacket and put up the hood. she snuck over to Yuri's house. she went to the back of his house and knocked on the window.
He opened it up "Down here!" She yelled up He looked down "Gwen? what are you doing here? it's really late!" He said "Eh, not really, can we talk?" Gwen asked "eh, I don't know. Sure. You know I can't say no to you," He said he jumped down from his window and shut it and left a crack open so he could get back in later.
"Bedtimes are for Auradon," Gwen said "What's on your mind?" Yuri said smiling "Well I was thinking about it, I miss the old days when we had more kids our age around. I feel like they're all going soft. Maybe.... I don't know..." Gwen said
"Being Good isn't a bad thing? I would love to be good!" Yuri said "Hey, I never said I wanted to be a good kid! What would life be without stealing?" Gwen said "Secure?" Yuri said "I don't know. how are things going at home with you and your mom?" Gwen asked
"Not too great. She keeps getting mad at me because I want to eat fruit and vegetables instead of junk food, She gets mad because I clean up after myself, she gets mad that I say please and thank you. I can't seem to catch a break, she'd probably be happy I was leaving," Yuri said sadly
"I like you just the way you are," Gwen said "thanks," "But if you say thank you too much you're going to get yourself hurt around here," Gwen said "Thanks for the heads up," "Not a problem," Gwen said
