                   "Well this should be fun" Evelyn sighed taking a sip of her milk....

                                 the rest of the week was uneventful just Lyra making sure i didnt forget about the tutoring session, but how could i forget. mom went down to the school to talk to Mr.Broflovski about the grade on my test and he went over it and gave me a 100 on it, i found it kind of funny how Lyra was all cocky about her grade and saying that she must be doing something im not. i can't wait to see her face when me, a 15 year old got a better garde than a 17 year old one the same test. But maybe i could give her a little advise on how to get a better grade in the future and we could go over what she got wrong. but right now i need to figure out a outfit.  

                          it was about 2:30 and i decided on an oversized sweater, black holey jeans, a black choker with a sun charm, black hightop converse , and to finish it i decided to wear my round backup glasses i got just cause the ones i usually wear brake they also reminded me of Harry potter.

                                i looked back to the clock and it readed 3:05 "shit i'm going to be late" i mumbled to myself as i grabbed my backpack and ran out the door yelling a goodbye to mom and dad. i ran down the street as i fished out the address. it was a lot colder than i expected  but then again it is denver colorado, and its fall. 

                             i looked at the street signs but none of them said the road written on the paper lyra gave me.  i continued to look for the road when my phone went off, it was a text from Lyra, i looked at the time and it was already 4:30. i sighed as i opened the text 

L: where are you Rose? you should have been here by know

R: i don't know i can't find you house  

                  i typed and shoved my phone in my pocket and continued walking about 5 minutes later i started raining.

'this must be my lucky day' i thought to myself, i continued to walk down the street. then my phone went off again 

L: where are you? i'll com and pick u up

R: i'm not too sure, i think somewhere near the elementary school but it's raining to hard to tell 

L: ok i'll be there in a few mins just try to stay put

                 i sighed and walked a couple more feet, i stopped after i saw the elementary school lights far in the distance i sat down on the sidewalk and watched as cars went by i could feel the stares of the drivers on me as the zoomed past me, probably thinking to themselves   " 'why is a young girl sitting on the side of the road in the pouring rain?' i sighed and pulled out my phone

R : hey mom i think i might be a little late getting home tonight 

M: just be home before 1 am ok

R: ok love you 

M: love you too and be safe 

R: will do

                                   i put my phone back in my pocket and continued to wait and watch the cars go by as i got absolutely soaked by the piss pouring rain. I continued to watch when a car stopped in front of where i was sitting. i stood up and watched as the window rolled down, it was Lyra "come on, get in you'll get sick if you stay in the rain for much longer." she said with a smile on her face "but i'll get your seats wet." i pointed out " that's ok its leather anyways" she said and i got in the car " sorry for being late." i said, i don't know why but i felt as though i had to apologise for not being there on time "it's not your fault, plus it started raining so it made it harder for you to find and you had to walk." she said as she pulled onto a road listed parkwood dr.
