How You Meet + Their First Thoughts
Aela
Aela met you during the giant attack just by the Whiterun stables. You were able to get a few arrows in the creature before the other Companions knocked it to the ground. She thanked you for your help and suggested you could be a strong shield brother/sister/companion."Well, they seem like they're Companion worthy..."
Farkas
Farkas met you while fighting the giant just outside of Whiterun. You ran up to help the warriors, but the creature fell dead before you could get a hit in. He noticed your slightly disappointed expression, but before he could say anything, Aela spoke up.
"They seem eager to fight. Maybe they would make a good Companion."
Vilkas
Vilkas was frustrated at your sudden approach, wishing he could vent his personal matters to his Harbinger. As Kodlak spoke, he pushed the previous conversation and thoughts to the back of his mind as he observed the way you carry yourself, your armor (or robes or whatever), and overall just trying to get a good understanding of what type of person you are."Who is this? Who do they think they are to come into Jorrvaskr and just ask to be apart of the Companions?"
Brynjolf
He was rather intrigued when he was glancing around and saw a new face. He continued his act of being a normal shopkeeper as he watched the newcomer walk around. A mischievous grin was plastered on his face once he saw you casually slip a silver ring out of one of the townsfolk's pockets.
"Haha, a pure natural so it seems. I'm curious to see more of their work."
Mercer
Mercer didn't think much of you upon first glance, considering you were just a new member. His eyes glanced over you real quick, analyzing your figure.
"This person better be as good of a thief as Brynjolf makes them out to be."
Cicero
You came across Cicero on the road, right by Lorieus Farm. He was grateful for your help and very pleased, seeing as other people refused to help.
"Oh, Cicero surely does appreciate this stranger's help! Cicero sure hopes to see this helpful stranger again."
Nazir
Nazir thought that you were going to be killed and thrown into a ditch by next week, but he was interested in seeing how you'd do."I'll be surprised if they last over a week, but hell, they could end up doing better than our higher ranks. Ha, I have to say, I doubt it."
Lydia
She was greatly honored to stand in your presence. Not just because you are the Thane, but also because you are the Dragonborn. Just a little while before she met you, you had just slain a dragon with a small hand full of other people.
"So they're the one who killed a dragon?! Wow... I'm honored to stand in their presence. ...and I really wanna see their combat skills."
Serana
Serana was thoroughly confused to see you waking her, especially since you weren't a vampire. But many of her thoughts were also clouded with fatigue and her previous thoughts that she tried to remember.
"What the... who is... this? Is this who my father sent to wake me after all this time? Speaking of which, how long has it been?"
Teldryn
Teldryn had never seen your face in the Retching Netch, so he was hopeful that you would need his services. He could use the coin, plus he was getting rather tired of sitting around and drinking. He couldn't help the smug look on his face when you walked up to him."Wonder how long it's going to take for them to get killed."
