I got out of bed and put on some clothes and went downstairs. Knowing I was going to have to get groceries I grab my keys off the kitchen table and went out the door. As soon as I stepped out onto the front porch the freezing cold air sunk in to my bones. Declan was right , it had snowed last night. I rushed over to my truck kicking the snow off my boots and headed to town . The scenery was just as beautiful as the day before, the winding road was covered with snow the sun shining down on it made it look like little diamonds. It made last night's nightmare slip away into nothing. I broke off from the dirt road and onto the blacktop I followed the same directions back to town. Driving through town I saw that people were scattered around doing their everyday routine going to the grocery store, kids running around playing in the snow, I found myself smiling.

When I pulled in to Walmart I found a parking spot and headed inside I had my grocery list in my hand and my wallet tucked under my armpit . I got in side I went to the meat aisle first and then the fresh produce aisle. I picked up enough groceries to last me awhile when I was done I packed my stuff outside to the truck and headed home.

By the time I got home and unloaded groceries , it was around noon I realized I didn't want to stand around a empty house anymore than necessary, Because the more time I was alone with my thoughts the more time I had to think , and that wasn't a good idea, so I grab some extra clothes and shove them in a plastic bag and decided I wanted to go for a run Hadn't been in my coyote form since I got here and I was itching for one .I stripped out of my clothes and shifted it in my coyote form the tingles from the change still buzzed around my nose so I rub my paws up against my snout to get rid of the sensation and headed out the back door.

The feeling of the breeze press against my fur give me a sense of freedom and the snow under my paws relaxed my anxiety this is where I belong. free with no worries I let go and let my instincts take over. Enjoying the hunt and everything that came along with it. I stocked around trees ,bushes, and over the snow covered ground when I came across the snow rabbit nibbling on some vegetation sticking out from under the ground I leaned down and was about to pounce but it sent me coming and bolted. I chased after it not really giving in to the chase but enjoying it. I was starting to get hungry so I sped -up my pace right when I was about to sink my teeth down on its neck something behind me snapped. I just realized that I was being followed ,no I was being hunted I was so in tuned on the chase that didn't since someone behind me Until now . The smell of werewolf brushed against my nose I new what to do and what not to do and you don't run from a werewolf no matter what. so I stopped and watched the forest serounding me Waiting for it to make it's self notes able .but I wasn't expecting what I saw, the wolf was big and breathe taking it's fur was snow white on it's paws and legs and the further up you got grays and silvers took over and mixed in with the white. It's eyes was a shocking midnight blue that took my breath away I rolled over on my belly and showed submissivniss.

It stead they're circling me ,watching me ,but not attacking .It look curious more than angry I thought Declan said his pack was dangerous. I new not all werewolves where dangerous. Samuel was an exception to that but I wasn't stupid to assume everybody out there was like Samuel, Werewolf or human that's what got me hurt in the first place .

It Step forward to sniff me and touched its nose to my belly stepping back and it disappeared into the trees .I could hear it shifting bones breaking I was shocked it didn't take very long maybe a minute.

Werewolf where I come from take longer to shift and it's painful but granite werewolves here are much more tougher they have to be tough to survive the winter here. And the fact that they're half crazy and pain doesn't bother them anymore.
