Chapter 14

When I got to the house I went straight to my phone I new Samuel would answer he was off on Fridays I dialed the number that I have none since I was a child I Stood waiting for someone to pick up Listening to the ringing on the other end of the phone The longer I waited the more worry and anxiety feeling in my stomach I couldn't handle it anymore It was getting the better of me I was weak I was a coward I was about to hang up when a Velvet Voice said hello can I help you I want to speak I wanted to tell Samuel that I missed him and everything but nothing came out so I panicked and did the only thing I new I hung up I side I would try again tomorrow with that I went upstairs to take a shower by the time I was finished with my shower I came downstairs and started dinner I decided to do roasted chicken and sweet potatoes I knew Sarah, Lucas and Declan would be here they're always here I was taking the chicken and sweet potatoes out of the oven when I heard Lucas's thick Husky voice mercy are you here something smells good Lucas steps to the kitchen doorway with Sarah and Declan right behind him . He Pulled me in for a warm hug thanks To Lucas and Declan i have come to realize not all men were monsters I didn't  flinch away from being held or touched anymore I breathed in the sense that could only be Lucas he kiss me on top of the head and said how's the little ones doing?I laughed and said they're moving a lot more now I had a feeling that there was more than one. Sometimes if felt like they were using my belly as a punching bag he Chuckled there going to be strong just like your mother  his voice held warmth and kindness in it Lucas and Declan had been there through the whole thing every since I told him about my pregnancy they went to doctors appointments and Sarah went and got me thanks that I craved . Lucas was in the middle of  setting up plates and forks with his back to me when he said I know you have an appointment tomorrow do you want me to come with . I hadn't said anything but this is the appointment that's going to find out how many babies I was caring and what their sex was I didn't want to know how many Babies I was caring Because it terrified me that they might  be just like him like Tom the man that Stripped me of everything and left me with nothing but Pain.                                    
Lucas Must have sent my hesitation because he said it's fine really I don't mind going you should have someone there . I Side ok you win but you're feeding me lunch afterwords He turned Around with a smile on his face That could make all the girls swoon yeah like always or would you wanna go hunting in Sted he knew I couldn't turn down a good hunting trip with him we hadn't went together in a while Declan has been busy with Pack stuff and the fact that the local Alpha meeting was coming up all alphas everywhere including Alaska wolfs are Expost to come meet somewhere of bran choosing To discuss certain things Bran usually didn't invite the Alaska wolds but part of me thinks that it's because he still searching for me it's the only place he hasn't look So Declan got the invitation in the mail the beginning of this month officially inviting him to the meeting I had a feeling that when they're there going to get questioned and no one is stupid enough to lie to Bran.  It was mostly quiet dinner Everybody was worried about what they were going to do for the meeting we knew we couldn't lie but we also new the question would be asked and I wasn't ready to face my pass yet So that put Declan in a hard place every time I brought it up he would was say it's gonna be all right girly leave it to me but I think he was just saying that to keep me from worrying Everybody left pretty quickly after dinner we had a lot on Our mind I wash the dishes I want upstairs to run me a bath I was exhausted and tired and my body was soreI slid into the warm bathwater and felt the tension in my body relax I stad in the bath until the water became cool I Climbed out and got into my comfy pajamas and curl myself underneath
