My eyes start getting fatigued as I read Thalia's book that she recommended.
The book has gotten very intense and started getting too cliche for me.
I chuckle from the thought of Thalia actually reading books like these.
I start getting eager to text Thalia. Maybe even FaceTime?
All we've done is texting, I'm pretty positive that she has an iPhone too.
I hesitantly tap on Thalia's contact deciding wether or not to FaceTime her.
I don't want to disturb her, she could be asleep by now.
Fuck it.
My finger taps on the FaceTime thing as I anxiously wait for Thalia to pick up.
As the FaceTime call is about to go off Thalia answers.
I start getting very nervous and giddy. "H-hey Thalia!" I exclaim.
"Why are you calling me at one in the morning gray" Thalia says with an adorable voice, she didn't try to make it adorable it's just her morning voice is.
I chuckle as I start wondering why I actually called Thalia. I have no reason I just love hearing her voice. It's like music to my ears, her voice is so soft and angelic it's hard not to love it.
"Just wanted to hear your voice" I say while feeling my heart flutter.
"Oh" is all she says, I can already see her smiling through the phone.
I start thinking about taking Tahlia out on a date. Would she reject me?
"Hey lia, I have a question" I say getting even more nervous than I already am.
"Yes gray?" Thalia says in her soft sweet voice.
"Would you, well, I don't know, possibly go out with me?" I ask biting my lip.
"Uh-" Thalia starts bEfOre I interrupt.
"It's okay you don't have t-" I start rambling before Thalia interrupts me.
"Grayson you don't even know what I was going to say" Thalia says.
"Oh" is all I say.
"Yeah I'd go out with you, as friends." She says hesitantly.
Damn. I never really knew how it felt to be friend zoned but that was so bad.
"Y-Yeah of course" I say trying not to hang up.
"Great, text me about what time your picking me up, or if you want to meet up somewhere" she says.
"Yeah I'll pick you up" I tell her.
"Cool, goodnight gray." She says with her soft beautiful voice.
"Goodnight beautiful" I say trying to flirt. Obviously I'm not good at it.
"Goodnight gray" She says hanging up.
I went to sleep with Thalia on my mind that night.

(An: IM AM SO STUPID OMG, ITS SUPPOSED TO BE WINTER IN THE BOOK AND SHES WEARING A DRESS WITH NO COAT SMH. SIS IS GONNA FREEZE! Jk let's just pretend she's wearing a coat🤠😔)
I delicately zip up my dress as I look at myself in the mirror.
I let my hair flow back my back as I add a few barrettes.
I bring a little heart necklace as I fix myself up a bit.
I grab some random converse and grab my book, of course.
I grab my keys as I walk out my apartment.

I walk toward Grayson as he's on his phone. He looks up to me and shoots me a smile.
He starts walking towards me as he puts his phone away.
He's wearing a snapback along with a sweatshirt and sweatpants.
I immediately blush from me being overdressed. I mean I could've worn a sweater too but no, I wore a freaking dress.
"You look-" Grayson starts talking until I interrupt. "Overdressed, I know-" "Actually I was going to say you look beautiful" he says blushing.
"Oh" is all I say blushing as well. "Well ready to go? Let's go to a pizza place maybe? You can choose" He says. "I know a great pizza place around here, cmon follow me" I say walking across the street.

We end up at the pizza parlor and find some seats. While we were walking it started to get pretty cold. Grayson has offered his coat to me many times but I declined.
We get some seats as we take off our coats. (An: someone keep count on how much I've said coat in this book lmaooo) he pushes out my chair as I sit in. He pushes it back in and walks to his seat; across from mine.
"What a gentleman" I say with a grin. "Of course" he says with a smile. "You know, I already said this but, you look amazing tonight" He says looking at me straight in the eye.
My palms start to sweat as I feel my heart beat against my chest. I feel the corners of my mouth lift up from smiling. "Thank you" I barely let out.

"This pizza is so fucking good" Grayson says grabbing the last slice of pizza. This is his fourth one, I mean I'm not judging him or anything. "Oh my god I'm so rude, do you want it" He asks bringing the pizza to my face. "Oh no I'm good" I say with a smile.
"Oh yeah! I brought a book, maybe we can read at the lake? If you have a book of course, I'm guessing you do sense you always have one." He says with a chuckle.
"You know me so well! Of course I have a book, and yeah we can go." I say pulling out my book.
"Great! Should we get the check?" Grayson asks. "Yeah, I'll pay for-" "Don't you dare finish that sentence, I'm paying" Grayson says pulling out his credit card. I only smile as he pulls a waiter over here.

"What page are you on?" I ask Grayson. "Um yeah about that, I haven't read it yet." He says scratching his neck.
"Well read it" I say with a chuckle. "Well Thalia, what page are you on?" "294" I say (an: I'm to lazy to put the number in words) "Nice" Grayson says opening his book.
"Well let's read" I say about to read my book. "Thalia why do you like to read so much" Grayson asks. "I dunno, it's when you can step into another characters shoes, it's pretty cool." I say.
"Interesting"
