"Spence are you gonna be back for dinner?" (Y/n) asks her fiancée over the phone as she lays on their bed. He frowns at her question. "I hope so. We just took off so maybe." (Y/n) sighs but nods. "I'll plan for two but I won't expect anything." Spencer frowns more at the sad tone his woman was using. "I'm sorry baby. I wish I could be holding you now, but instead I have Morgan staring at me with a smirk." "That's because now that they all know I exist they have another thing to tease you about. You're so adorable when you call me names and such over the phone." The 24 year old responds. Reid smiles and nods. "That's true. Not the cute part but that teasing part. Anyways how was work? Did Jarod touch you again?" (Y/n) shakes her head. "After I told him my fiancée works for the FBI he laid off." "Good. Because if he ever comes near you again I will knock his ass into next week so fast he won't know what hit him." Everyone on the plane looks at the genius shocked at his language. (Y/n) giggles and nods again. "Good to know darling. I guess I could let you go. I know you like napping on the plane ride home. I'll see you soon darling. I love you." "I love you more baby girl." Spencer replies and ends the call. He puts his phone back into his pocket and lays down on the couch. "How long have you known this girl again?" Morgan asks smirking. "9 years, 7 months, 23 days, 35 minutes and 45 seconds." Reid replies and closes his eyes as he lifts the blanket to his chin. Morgan laughs and nods. "Ok Pretty Boy. We're happy for you." "Thanks," Spencer whispers before falling asleep. When the plane lands Spencer is the first to leave.

He quickly makes his way home and to his fiancée. When he walks into the apartment his smile turns into a frown. He's too late. He hadn't looked at a clock so he didn't realize it was already 1 in the morning. (Y/n) had put his plate in the fridge. He isn't hungry so after taking off his shoes and jacket he walks to their shared room. (Y/n) lays on Spencer's side, clutching his pillow. The moonlight from the window shines on her and Spencer couldn't help thinking she looks like an angel. He strips to his boxers and crawls into the bed. The woman instantly curls into his chest and sniffles softly, but remains asleep. He holds her close and kisses her forehead. "I'm so sorry I'm late baby." He whispers and closes his eyes. "Spencer," she whispers and moves so her body is flush against his. Slowly Spencer falls asleep holding her against him.
