Chapter One

"Have you seen the new pictures?" Tess squealed making everyone stare in our direction. "Let me guess are they of..." "MICHAEL'S BUTT" she interrupted. Ellie quietly laughed, sipping on her Frappacino. The Sassy Seven were out again at Starbucks, having a little break from boy stalking. "What, these ones?" Camille clicked on her photos app and up popped a picture of Michael's butt. They all stared and started fangirling as I looked out into the shopping centre. I'd already seen the pictures and I would fangirl but something caught my attention as soon as I looked towards Forever 21. I choked on my air and started poking Erin on the arm. "El, what's up?" she stared at me, going white in the face. I couldn't talk so I just pointed outside the door. As soon as Erin saw them, she stood up "Guys, we're going. Now" Everyone looked confused but obeying her orders, they grabbed their bags and everything. As I ran out of Starbucks, I started panicking. They were going to see me. Oh my god. "El, what's wrong?" Saffron looked concerned as everyone else crowded round me. Soon enough, they knew the answer. "Oh look, it's the stupid seven" Riley laughed. I just bit my lip and looked down at the ground. Riley and her friends, Tasha and Freya bullied me. They bullied me because I was quiet and I didn't have many friends, apart from the six angels stood beside me. I'm also not very pretty. That's why they bullied me as well. I felt a sudden tug on my arm, jolting me forward before falling into a bin. The rubbish went everywhere and I was sat in the muck. I didn't have the strength to get up. I could feel the tears filling my eyes. As I looked through the blur, I could see them all laughing at me. Then, Tasha spoke up. "What are these?" She spluttered yanking my sleeve up my arm. Great. She'd seen my scars. I could just see them all burst into fits of giggles. Oh what a fun time to be alive. "How pathetic El. You really are." Freya spat at my face as i shyed away. "how about you fuck off?" I heard a voice shout. Ayla. I smiled really hard. Ayla was a fighter and would always stand up for me. "What did you say?" Riley scoffed, staring at Ayla, disgusted. "You heard me. Fuck off. You all have low lives, every single one of you. Bullying people to the point they are questioning their lives is not cool. I'm surprised why people like you. You're just skanks, the whole lot of you." I lifted myself out of the rubbish, picking pieces of banana out of my hair as I walked away. We made our way back to the car, me staying silent as the others talked about school and boys. I thought about their words and what they said. Maybe they were right, I am pathetic. Ellie noticed I was down so she came up to me and hugged me. "Babe, everything will be okay. We're all here for you." She smiled looking at me. I pulled on a small fake smile, whispered thanks and pulled away. I wasn't in the mood to be pitied right now
