Quick Note:

The other chapters are poorly written because they were written on my IPod which I then had to transfer to my laptop so I am very sorry. I will go back and try to change them as soon as possible. Thank you :)

Beep Beep Beep.

I waved my hand in the direction of the noise.

Where is it?

Thud.

It's on the floor now.

Oh, for goodness sakes.

Fumbling around for the clock, I pulled it up and threw it beside me as I groaned. Today was the last day of my summer job working at HMV but I could NOT be bothered to get out of bed. I was feeling rubbish as it is but standing out in the cold handing out leaflets just added to how crap today was going to be. At least I get to see my little ray of sunshine ( ie. Sophie ) today. She always made things so much fun and she always added a little hope to my day. Padding across the carpet, I made my way to my draws and rummaged through, trying to find something acceptable to wear for the day. I pulled out some skinny jeans and a plain white t-shirt, chucking them on my bed. They'd do for the day. I pulled my hair up into a ponytail, fixing a bow on the end, to make it look like I made some effort. I applied foundation and mascara, nothing too extravagant and then pulled my clothes on. I didn't shower because simply, I didn't have time. After I brushed my teeth, I made my way downstairs to go and get some food. I heard a honk from outside the house, which symbolized that I was late and Sophie was here already. I texted her saying:

To Soph <3 -

I'll be out in a few :)x

Throwing some fruits into a tupperware container, that'd do for my breakfast. I grabbed the fruit, slipped on some uggs and ran out to the car. Sophie flashed me a beam from the drivers seat.

"Hey, how are you?" I asked, popping a grape into my mouth.

"I'm okay" she muttered, looking down

"What's up?"

"Just stuff"

"Well, you'll be okay. We might meet 5SOS at work, who knows? Hahaha" I joked

"Haha, I wish" she looked as happy as we are when Amnesia was on the radio.

It was a joke, obviously. But who knew one simple joke could actually become a reality in a matter of minutes.
