Sakura pov
I felt like shit.Well, shit was an understatement but it's the only thing I can think of to describe my current situation. Pain. And stiff, don't forget stiff. "Ugh. Where the hell am I?" My voice cracks, I cough. Suddenly, a crash is heard.
"SAKURA!!!!!!" I wince at the loudness of his greeting.
"Hello love. Happen to have any water?" I cough again.
He scratches his neck sheepishly. "Nah, but I'll go get you some right now!" He turns to leave but is stopped by a single pale hand.
"Already taken care of. Here, Sakura." Sasuke hands me a glass of water. I gulp it down in an instant.
"Thank you so much, it felt like my throat was about to crumble to pieces like dry dirt. Now, details." I patted the space beside my bed mat.
They sat, and for the next hour or so I listened. "So, basically, bad men dead, hot sauce over here vomited a lot, and the village is happy again?" I confirmed.
Both nodded, Sasuke a little reluctantly but who cares. Cool. So. Now what? "Well, I was hoping some food."
I jerked at the sudden noise in my head. I-that is actually a decent idea. "Is there any food?" Naruto's eats perked up at the word.
"Yeah, I'll go grab you some. By the way, we'll be leaving once you can walk so get better, cause' I want to get outta here." I nod, remembering the conversation as the most expressive one I've had with the gloomy boy.
Twenty minutes pass and I finally receive the food. I nearly inhale it when it reaches my greedy little paws, and sighing contently with my full belly, I clap my hands. "Welp, lets go. Where's Kakashi." I ask as I stand up.
It's incredibly painful, but they don't need to know that. I just want to get home and enjoy the privilege of modern medicine. "What? Sakura, you can't be serious!" Naruto exclaims.
I raise my brow. "And why not?"
"You're hurt!" I ignore the obvious.
"How long was I out?"
"Three days. Why?"
"Then that means I've had three days of healing. Now, I don't know about you, but I would love some of that sweet sweet medical ninjutsu. So, I'll get packed, and then we can leave. Now go, go, go!" I push them out of the room and quickly shut the door.
Okay. Now time for some basic healing. I concentrate as hard as I can and heal the minor wounds on my legs and torso, leaving my arms alone. I can't heal anything else, it takes too much energy. I stretch, popping my back and arms in the process. "Time to pack!"

"I knew we should've stayed a few more days!"
"Oh, hush Naruto. If sensei gives me a piggyback ride the rest of the way, all will be peachy." I rolled my eyes.
"You can't even walk. How will getting to the village fix that?" he spoke at the mention of his title.
"Hospital, genius. And here I thought you were one of the smart ones." He rolled his eye. "Piggyback. Now." I demanded, making grabby hands at him.
Looks like the grabby hands worked, cause next thing I knew I was on his very muscular and warm back, trying my very best not to fall asleep.
I should've tried harder.

I awoke to the smell of hospital. I grinned. Who knew he was smart enough to actually bring me here and not make me crawl myself? Inner snorted.
"I was actually pretty surprised myself. Think we're popular enough to get a visit from someone who isn't Naruto?"
Now it was my turn to snort. Not a chance. It seems that I had spoke too soon, because immediately the door slid open. To my surprise, it was the Hokage himself. I didn't think I'd be this popular..
"What a surprise. What made you take that pipe outta your mouth long enough to make the trip down here, hm?" There was a hint of malice in my words, and I had no clue why. Where did it come from?
"That would be me."
I nearly gasped aloud. Whaaat?! Why?
"That is a story for another time. Maybe three a.m? Either way, you'll hear it. So hush and get back to reality before he starts to wonder."
I bring my focus back to the senior in front of me. "Ah, was that a little bit of bite I heard in that bark? And to think I was only coming to check on your wellbeing." He seemed to not take me seriously.
I don't know if I was happy about that or not.
"I find that hard to believe, you don't seem to check on any other ordinary ninja when they're injured." Now I have a reason, valid or not, to sprinkle a little of that malice in.
"Well, you're no ordinary ninja, now are you?" His eyes were knowing.
Time seemed to stop. What does he know?

Hello my lovely readers! Long time no talk, and boy is it good to talk again. I seemed to have gone into a spiral of depression during the holiday months, which turned around in January. I've spent that time healing and figuring out things about myself, and I'm happy to say that I'm back!!! I also got a cat, her names Mochi, and her picture is below :) comment if you want her Instagram! And now I'm off to see if I can update another story. Have a wonderful day!!
