A/N: I'm sure this is not how insurance and stuff works after a murder but idgaf right now >.> Thanks.
Adam sat up in bed gasping for breath. His body felt like it was tingling. His face was wet with his tears. He could hear his heartbeat in his ears. The blond glanced around the room and soon realized he was in the cabin with the people who'd murdered his family and had kidnapped him. The ones who ultimately saved him from the hell he was trapped in. Looking to his left, he saw Tim asleep on his back.
Both of the brunette's hand were under his head. Adam watched the rhythmic rise-and-fall of his chest as he breathed. Watching Tim breath seemed to calm him down some. He scooted over, resting his head on the brunette's chest, and cautiously put his hand on Tim's chest. Instinctively, Tim wrapped his right arm around Adam's back and pulled him closer. The blond closed his eyes and drifted back to sleep a few minutes later.
Tim woke up feeling warmer than usual. Looking down, he noticed Adam had curled up next to him in the middle of the night. He moved some hair out of Adam's boyish face. 'He's so gorgeous yet his beauty belies the horrors he's been through. It's not fair.' Tim frowned as he watched the blond sleep. The smell of coffee and bacon made his stomach grumble. As carefully as he could, he slid out from under Adam and left the bedroom.
Rob was up making bacon and pancakes. The redheaded couple were giggling in the bathroom. Chance was going over what all they had to pawn. Tim poured himself a cup of coffee and thanked Rob for cooking. The cuddly teddy bear said it was no problem.
"Have we picked a residence yet?" Tim asked as he sat down at his place.
"There's three possible choices that I think fit our needs. I've got all three pulled up on my laptop if you wanna watch the pancakes for a minute." Rob replied over his shoulder.
Rob went to quickly fetch his laptop and set it on the dining table. Tim switched him places as he looked over the housing options. He read over the descriptions and inspected each picture that was available. He wanted Chance to look over their options too as a second opinion. A few minutes later, Chance stumbled into the kitchen and headed straight for the coffee pot. Rob chuckled and stated that breakfast would be done shortly.
Once his cup was full, he went to sit by Tim. The biker leader explained what Rob had found as he scooted the laptop over to his second-in-command. Tim had never named their little group. That was something he'd been thinking about. As Chance was looking over their housing options for Orlando, Austin and Red entered the kitchen. Adam was still sound asleep and Tim was fine with that. The boy needed his rest after the emotional day he'd had.
As Rob was putting a platter of pancakes and bacon on the table, Adam stumbled his way into the kitchen. He poured himself a cup of coffee before sitting at his place. Chance moved the laptop into the living room before sitting back down.
"Guys, before y'all head out for the day there's something I want to bring up with ya. We've been together for a hot minute. We consider ourselves a biker club but we don't have a name. I've been thinking about this for a while. What do you think about calling ourselves 'The Shadow Wolves'?" Tim asked.
"I love it!" Red immediately grinned.
"Sounds dangerous and sneaky. I dig it." Chance replied.
"Doesn't really matter to me. We're still a family." Rob chuckled as he poured syrup over his pancakes.
"I'm with Rob. Doesn't make much difference to me." Austin shrugged.
Adam was fixing his plate. He didn't feel like he was actually a part of the group so he remained quiet.
