A/N: Since it's Adam's birthday, I'll go ahead and give y'all a treat 😉

The pair sat across from one another, munching on the free chips and salsa, nursing tea, and looking over their menus. Tim desperately wanted to know what all had transpired at the bank but didn't want to ask. That was Adam's money. Lord knows the poor kid had more than earned every cent he milked from the insurance.

"Tim?" Adam practically whispered after their waitress took their order.

"Yes, Adam?" Tim looked up at the blond man.

Tim noted how Adam kept fidgeting with his fingers and biting on his lower lip. That lip that looked so soft and easily kissable.

"I...I got a lot of money." Adam stuttered, "And...I've...they...I mean..."

Tim's forehead puckered as he listened to the blond. Adam's shoulder's slumped forwards slightly. He used his hair to hide his face, which Tim thought was rather adorable, and kept swallowing.

"What I mean to say is..." Adam stuttered again, "...I don't know. Never mind I spoke."

Tim cocked his head to the side while raising his eyebrow.

"Adam, I know what you've told me about your parents and how you grew up. I'm assuming you were never taught how to handle money and normal things like that, were you?" The corners of Tim's mouth downturned as he spoke, willing his voice to stay calm and even.

Adam shook his head no and refused to make eye contact with the man sitting across from him.

"Adam, listen to me. You got a raw deal in life. You were abused, mistreated, and used as a free slave. You were never given the opportunities other children and teens had." Tim softly exclaimed, "Anything you ever want to know, feel free to ask one of us."

Silence fell over the table but Tim knew that there was more. Did Adam have more questions? Did the Adam have more to say?

"The only thing I know is how to half-way cook and clean. I know nothing outside of that." Adam whispered, staring at his glass, "I know nothing of whatever is between Austin and Red. I know nothing about money. I was never allowed to learn how to drive a car. Outside of school, I hadn't really been out of the house in probably two years before you people came along."

Tim's jaw stood ajar as he listened to Adam.

"I believed that was what my life was to be. (Adam shrugged) I accepted my fate. I accepted that no one would ever want me around except for what I could do for them. (Adam sighed)" The blonde's shoulders slumped as the waitress approached their table.

"We'll take care of you. I'll take care of you. Whatever you need, whatever you want, let me know, ok?" Tim whispered as the waitress walked away, "Adam, can I ask you an intensely personal question? (The blond nodded) Have you ever had sex? Like, willingly with someone?"

Adam couldn't look Tim in the eye. His head hung low. Not answering and his body language told Tim all he needed to know. There was so much the blond had missed out on because of his shitty family. It angered the brunette to know Adam's only sexual experiences were...that. It was beyond cruel.

"Cutie, I just...I thought my life had been bad. What you went through was so much worse. I want to help you. If you'll let me." Tim told his companion.

"What could you help me with?" Adam couldn't even look in Tim's direction as he spoke.

"Anything. Everything. Teach you all that I know. As little or much as that may be. (Adam cracked a small smile at the joke making Tim beam) Whatever." Tim wanted to reach across the table and take Adam's hand but thought better of it.
