Tim just scratched the back of his neck. He thought a lot about what Chance had said the rest of the afternoon. How could he help Adam? Would having Adam's trust be enough? 'It seems you've earned his trust.' Isn't that what he'd told Adam that night? They had trusted one another from the get-go? Would Adam ever consent to seeing an actual counselor? One that specializes in his type of trauma.

The biker leader just wanted Adam to...to not have the nightmares. To not fear being touched by other humans. To not fear other humans. Before he knew it, it was time to pick up Adam from school. Austin suggested Adam get a bus pass but Tim refused. He wanted to make sure Adam got home each day with no issues. That was what he told everyone. He liked being the one the blond depended on for transportation.

The one he depended on for everything, really. He was the one that Adam let into the depths of his mind. He was the one Adam clung to after a nightmare and wanted comfort from. It might have been selfish on his part but Tim really didn't care. Tim always arrived a little early. He wanted Adam to know he was dependable. As soon as Adam saw Tim sitting there, he began to walk a little bit faster. He always walked faster whenever he saw Tim waiting for him.

The blond put his school stuff in the right side saddle bag then climbed on behind Tim. They zipped their way back to their secluded home. Austin and Diamond wanted to go riding one afternoon just to see Orlando and get a feel for the place they'd be settling down at for an extended period of time. Tim wasn't so sure about the idea but even Chance was agreeing with them. The green-eyed man thought it would nice to get out of the house, enjoy the weather and scenery, and just hang out.

Rob greeted the pair as they entered the house. Adam nodded with a half-smile as he walked into the bedroom to drop his parts in pieces that they were talking about without taking apart their bikes so Tim had sent Chance and Austin out to see about finding some of the parts for him to look at.

As Adam was busy in the kitchen, the pair finally returned. They had a plastic tub full of various Harley engine parts. Tim smiled seeing what they'd brought back. He asked Chance if he could store the tub in his room until he was ready to show it to Adam. The blond was going over in his head some of what they'd been learning recently and he was having a hard time grasping a few of the concepts.

Dinner was simple that evening. Meatloaf, cheesy scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, and rolls. Tim walked into the kitchen as the blond was pulling out the potatoes and casserole of the oven. He refilled his tea glass then stood next to Adam. Since no one was in the kitchen, he took the opportunity to kiss the blonde's cheek. Adam's face flushed but he didn't back away or shake his head so Tim took that as a good sign.

After dinner, Adam headed to his room to get on his studies. It was everyone else's job to worry about putting up any leftovers and cleaning up the kitchen.

"I'll clean up from dinner." Tim stated making everyone look at one another.

"But boss..." Chance started out.

"He needs time to study alone and I need something to do with my hands while he does." Tim shrugged.

Austin just nodded but Rob & Chance gave one another 'a look'. The pair headed off to their room. Red and Austin moved into the living room to find something to watch on TV. Tim wanted to give Adam time to study without his presence. He took his time putting up the leftovers and getting the kitchen cleaned. He got the coffee ready to make the next day and even set the table for breakfast. With nothing else to do, he relented and retreated into his room for the remainder of the night.

"Arrrgh!" Adam threw his notebook across the room with a huff right as Tim opened the door.

"Woah! What did the poor notebook do to you?" Tim joked.
