~ StingerKasumi ~

AU 

"Stinger, you are pair with Kasumi for the upcoming project." the teacher said. He just rolled his eyes. He could hear the others girls eyed Kasumi with jealously, and the boys glared at him with the same damn reasons. 

He could sense Kasumi approached his table. 

"Stinger-san?" she called him to get his attention. 

"We'll meet at my house this afternoon for the project." Stinger coldly stated, and just handed her his number and then leave. 

Kasumi sighed. Stinger was known to be the cold-hearted. She always hated those types of boys. 

It was afternoon. Kasumi walked toward Stinger house according to his direction, 

"So this is his house." Kasumi stated, she was amazed by how big it is. 

Sugoi. she stated in her head. 

"You're here early." she heard a voice that startled her. Kasumi quickly turned around and saw Stinger walking with a bunch of fan girls tailing him behind from a distance. 

Stinger-kun so hot! Stinger-kun so cool! 

Who's that girl in front of Stinger-kun house? She better back off! Stinger-oppa is mine! 

Kasumi could feel glared of dagger that was shoot toward her. She just ignored those disgusting glare. 

"Come in." Stinger told her as he unlocked the gate. They walked in and the gate was immediately closed and locked. The other fan girls tried to get in but didn't work. 

Stinger-oppa why did you let her in?

"JUST SHUT UP AND LEAVE!" Stinger yelled at the fan girls and they all left. Kasumi was a bit startled by Stinger's outburst.

"Stinger-san, are you okay?" Kasumi took the courage and asked. 

Stinger just nod his head and went in, Kasumi followed. 

As they reached in the house, Kasumi saw a big potrait of  Stinger's family on the wall. 

"Stinger-san, is that your family?" Kasumi asked. 

"Yeh." Stinger stated. But Kasumi could sense he tensed up when she asked. 

"Did I ask something that made you uncomfortable?" Kasumi asked. The questions took Stinger by surprise. 

This girl has sharp sense he noted. 

"It's nothing. You don't have to worry." Stinger stated. Kasumi nodded. 

"Let sit down over there." Stinger pointed to the dining table. Kasumi followed. 

"You want water?" he asked. 

"I'm fine." Kasumi said. 

And so they took out their work and started working on the project. Two smart brains together thus it only took them 2 hours to get everything accomplish. 

"Wow! We got finished sooner than I thought." Kasumi exclaimed as she packing her stuffs. 

"Yeh." 

"Stinger-san, tell me honestly. Did I ask you something uncomfortable earlier?" Kasumi asked. Stinger looked in her eyes, it shows determination. 

"It just my family got into an accident 2 years ago. When I was at my summer camp and my family was in Viet Nam." Stinger explained. 

"I'm sorry to hear that." Kasumi said. 

"It's fine. It's been two years. My parents died, and my aniki went missing." Stinger continued.. Kasumi could see tears started to come out. 

She quickly got her handkerchief and handed to him. 

"Here. You can stop, if it hurt you too much to tell me." Kasumi suggested. Stinger took the handkerchief and thanked her. 

He didn't stop, he wanted to. But. He felt like he could tell everything to Kasumi and she would understand. She was different from fangirls. She something more. 

Kasumi sat there and actively listen to Stinger's story, comforting him along the way. Before they realized it was getting pretty late. 

"i'm sorry. I should have watch the time." Stinger apologized. 

"It's fine Stinger-san. It good that you get a chance to let it all out. I'm happy to sit down and listen anytime you want to talk." Kasumi smiled. 

"Stinger." 

"Huh?" Kasumi asked. 

"You don't need to call me Stinger-san, Stinger is fine." Stinger explained. 

"alright then, Stinger. You can call me Kasumi." Kasumi smiled, Stinger, for the first time ever, smiled back. The smile that disappeared after his parents and aniki incident. 

"Let me walk you home, Kasumi." Stinger suggested. 

"Are you sure?" Kasumi asked. Stinger nodded. 

"Alright then." Kasumi said. 

With that, a new friendship bloomed. A friendship that would soon grow to something more.
