I'm sorry it has to come to this and you have the right to argue me on this...
John Laurens isn't a cinnamon roll. He wasn't a "gay turtle boi" or "smol bean" or "smol boi" or even "pure innocent turtle gay smol bean boi" (Now you can disagree with me or whatever) He was a Lieutenant Colonel, a depressed, suicidal man. He probably done bad things. But he was a sad man who wanted death. This man doesn't need to be treated like a child, he needs to be shown great respect as "The Man Who Fought for freedom" (I already feel the fandom coming) Yes he was gay, and yes he drew birds but he wasn't pure and he wasn't innocent. Please don't get offended or angry about this I just wanted to explain why John Laurens needed prober praise- respect. Not to be treated as a pure innocent man but a Lieutenant Colonel, a man who fought freedom for all slaves, A free country.
