My guide to describing detail your story.

Describing detail in your story is important and it's much more advanced than using pictures.

1) start off describing your character.
Example: Harper is a pale looking boy. He has short curly black hair with dark brown eyes. Harper is tall for his age. He's 6'1 (or six foot one).

See! It's not hard and you want to make the reader picture the character in their head.

2) describe your house.
Example: Harper lives in a suburban neighbourhood. His house is like all the others. Brick layered house with windows at the front near the brown door.

It's not hard!
It's best to try and describe details in your story. whatever you see in your head your reader needs to see too!!
Hope this helped.
