Chapter thirty eight; Aberforth Dumbledore

Ron had saved Olivia from drowning when they had jumped off the dragon. He had pulled her up to shore and dragged her immobile body up on to the rock face.
She was barely conscious. The sounds around her were muffled, almost as if she was still underwater and everything she saw was in blurs and shapes. Her body shook as cold air hit her like a brick.
She could barely make out the conversation occurring above her as three blurred figured rushed around her. It seemed like they had been there for some minutes and then all of a sudden the paralysis she felt was gone and everything was clear.
She sat up quickly, an overload happening to her body. She was coughing and shivering while seething in pain in between breaths. Her ears were suddenly clear and the immobile state she had entered when she had been hit with the spell had fully wore off.
When everything was clear to her again the pain in her stomach intensified and she lifted her hand to press over the pain while looking up to her friends. Their talking had ceased and instead they looked at her with their mouths agape, in complete shock.. or horror, Olivia wasn't sure which.
She shivered as the cold air kissed her wet skin and her teeth chatted together, "W-What's w-wrong-g w-with you-you guys?"
Hermione took a cautious step forwards and bent down to Olivia who had been placed on the grass. Before she had fully come round they had tried to take the cloak and dress off that she had been wearing, knowing fine well she was wearing clothes underneath. They had succeeded, first falling into complete panic as a large blood stain coated the white cotton shirt she wore. They soon stood in horror as Ron noticed a series of black lines running over the veins in her left arm.
It didn't take Olivia much longer to realise she was only in a wet strappy top and blue jeans. While she stuttered over her words to make an excuse of what was happening to her, Hermione came to her side and lifted the shirt up.
"Now isn't the time." She told her without meeting her eyes, "Your soaking wet Olivia, we need to try and heal you before you die of hyperthermia or blood loss."
Olivia was shocked by her calm tone as the girl pressed her hands on to her bleeding abdomen. Hermione had been a mess when Ron had been splinched and now as she faced whatever injury Olivia had she was calmer than ever.
"Wh-what happened?" Olivia asked with a groan as Hermione applied too much pressure, "Am I going to die?"
"It's hard to say." Hermione told her, completely missing Olivia's non-serious tone.
Her eyes widened, "Wha—"
"—Ron, there's a blanket in my bag." Hermione pushed quickly, "Fetch it for me, will you before she freezes to death."
"Where's your bag?"
"Over there." Hermione said, looking behind her while keeping her hands on Olivia's stomach, "By Harry's feet." Olivia on the other hand, could only stare at the grey looking sky in disbelief while she bled out. The colour of the sky reminded her of the rare colour of Draco's eyes and it was a good enough distraction.
"Hermione?" She croaked into the air, staring up at the sky.
"Yes?"
"Why is it always me?" She wondered, "Why am I always the one that ends up almost dying? Why is it me who always has to hurt the most?"
Hermione's eyes widened slightly in a panic as she began to daze, "Olivia, what are you talking about?"
"You know what I mean."
