Chapter forty seven; The Battle of Hogwarts, Part Seven.

Draco was doing what was right, he wasn't picking his sides out of fear anymore and he could've easily fled like so many others had but he chose to stay and that made all the struggle and the hassle worth it.
Draco was still overcome in shock after seeing Olivia — the old Olivia, his Olivia— appear out of nowhere to defy the Dark Lord once more. But seeing her face, within an arms length from him was overwhelming. His jaw was dropped in shock and he couldn't fathom the sight in front of him, so he did the only thing he could think to do — just to make sure he wasn't dreaming.
He reached out and slid his hands into her hair, pulling her forwards and into a strong kiss. And if they ignored the fighting around them, the spells clashing could easily of been fireworks. Their lips moulded together perfectly as Olivia wrapped her arms around Draco's shoulders.
Serena Wood threw the curse directed at Antonin Dolohov with a battle-type cry as the man aimed at Olivia's back. She, along with Blaise and Graham and Theo protected their friends while they reunited because they owed it to them. Especially after the gut-wrenching night they had experienced together.
But eventually the couple pulled away and Draco engulfed Olivia in his arms and spun her around in a circle, squeezing her tightly, "I love you so much."
She squeezed back equally as hard, "You can't get rid of me that easily, Draco, you should've leant that by now."
Draco laughed, "You really have nine lives."
Her mouth fell open in shock and she smacked his shoulder, "I'm not a cat."
He grinned, "I know, I know—"
Suddenly, Olivia was pushed to the side of Draco while he fired at someone who had been behind her. He seemed to remember just then that they were in the midst of a battle. Olivia fired at someone coming in on Draco from behind when the boy snatched her hand in his and twirled her to face him, "Marry me."
Olivia's jaw dropped, "You what—?" She aimed her wand over her shoulder, "—Reducto! Draco, are you mad?"
He grinned as he returned from firing a spell, "Far from it actually."
With her words stuck in her throat, Olivia could only stare at Draco with wide eyes while he waited for an answer. She stuttered several incoherent sentences out but none of them actually made sense. She was in shock, Draco asking her to marry him was the very last thing she'd expected to have happened that day.
That was until she caught sight of a black scruffy looking dog over Draco's shoulder.
Her eyes narrowed, "What the fuck?" She mumbled to herself, watching as the dog ran through the battle and into the Great Hall.
It seemed Draco had caught sight of it too, "I think I'm finally going mental."
Olivia shook her head, "You're not going mental, love." She told him, stepping towards the Great Hall, "I recognise that dog."
Draco frowned in confusion as she left his side, "I—you, what?" He called after her, watching her back as she jogged into the Great Hall, "Olivia!"
She didn't see the dog anywhere inside the Great Hall but she saw Madam Pomfrey on one side of the hall and Bellatrix Lestrange on the other.
Her first thought was heal now, fight later but it was chucked out of the window when she caught Lestrange aiming at Ginny Weasley. Then it became fight now, heal later.
