RECAP~
I heard the seat next to me screech across the floor. I peeked out through my hair after about 10 minutes into the class, and found Jayden staring at me with a dangerous smile that already spelt trouble.
ENJOY!!!
Chapter 2: Why me?
That has got to be the most awkward and scary art class of my life.
All I could feel was Jayden's eyes on me the whole time. Every time I looked over he smirked and went back to that smile of his. Im surprised I or him got any work done at all.
I don't know if I like art anymore. Wait. No guy is going to ruin the one subject that I love. I mean English is alright I guess but still.
Becca and me were walking home, when I call it home I mean it was basically her home as well. She is always there. She's there enough for my mum to ask where she is if she's not there. Which would be very rarely.
"-that's what I noticed and im sure Mandy did too." she sighed overly dramatic at the end. I missed the start of the story there, what did she say again?
"Sorry what?"
"Were you zoning out again Kait? You know what never mind. I was saying that Jayden didn't stop gazing at you through the whole three classes. Did you even notice? I looked over at Mandy too and boy was she fuming, I swear if this was a cartoon there would be steam coming outta her ears." we looked at each other then, we both burst into a fit of laughter.
I loved it when we could just laugh without a care in the world. Be free. But something inside told me that I should enjoy it while it lasts. I brushed that thought aside and continued walking down the street with Becca.
"Well do ya like 'em?" she asked suddenly. I knew who she was talking about. Jayden.
"No. he kinda freaks me out. He's very" pause "intimidating. And plus you like him." we would never fight over something so idiotic as a guy. Never.
" Yeah I do but not like its gonna last, you know me." its true. She really only likes a guy for a while until something better gets on the market.
"But you have to admit. Jayden is like a God. He is so sexy." she said. And dangerous whispered my mind. Yeah. I could agree, he looks like the type that you don't want to mess with.
"I guess, okay yeah, but you know me, I don't like just the looks." I put emphases on the you part. I like the person on the inside and something about him just radiated danger. Inside and out.
"I know, I know. But-" she started and I already know where this was going.
"Nope, I already don't like him so don't say the likes of 'why don't you get to know him better?' it wont work." I tried to imitate her boyish voice. Tried but failed.
She stayed silent.
"Look lets just go to Tina's." Tina's was a small 60's diner in the quiet part of town. Hardly anyone goes there apart from us, Barney and the waitress Deana. Barney and Deana were our friends that we talk to when we're there.
We walked threw the door to hear a ding of the bell, and walked over towards the counter.
Deana was in her mid-thirties, with light ginger hair turned up in a bun, and small blue eyes. She was in her pink apron, checked skirt with a pink blouse.
