Becoming Mrs. Schmidt: Count Me In

End of the Summer! ♥

I stood out on the porch, watching the sun rise. Today is the last day of summer. Tomorrow we saw or goodbyes to everyone and go back home.

"Hey." I heard as someone say as they wrapped their arms around me.

"Morning Kendall." I said. I turned around.

"Last day here." he said. "What is planned?" Kendall asked.

"Um.. your mom said something about camping in the yard." I said. We both laughed.

"Alright then." Kendall said. We laughed and went inside.

"Come on boys, get moving! I want everything ready for camping! We leave in an hour!" I heard Mama Schmidt yell.

"Hey Mrs. Schmidt." I said. He looked at me.

"Nicole I love you dear, but how many times do I tell you to call me Mama Schmidt?" she asked. I blushed.

"Mom we are set." Kevin said, coming in.

"Good." she said. We all smiled and grabbed our stuff. We all walked outside. "Find a spot and set up." she said.

"Come on. I already found us a spot." Kendall said.

"You did?" I asked. He nodded and I followed him. He walked over to a corner far off everyone else. I smiled as he set the bags down and started putting our tent together. "Do you want some help?"

"No, you can go see if mom needs some help. I got this." Kendall said. I nodded and walked away. This was not going to end good.

An hour later

I walked back over to Kendall. He was still putting the tent up. He looked like he was having trouble. I laughed.

"Do you want some help?" I asked. He looked up at me and blushed.

"Yeah." Kendall said. I smiled and helped him set it up.

"I thought you could do it by yourself." I said once the tent was set up.

"Alright maybe I wanted to impress you." Kendall said, blushing.

"Aw Kenny," I said. I kissed his cheek and we went over to where his family was gathering, hand in hand.
