The whole ride to the house was silent. I didn't know what to say or do. I had feelings for Kendall everyday that we got closer and some part of me hoped that he felt the same, but he doesn't.
"What is going through your mind?" Kendall asked. I looked at him.
"What are you going to tell everyone when we get there?" I asked.
"I'll think of something." Kendall said. I sighed and looked back out the window.
There was more silence.
"Here we are!" Kendall said, excitedly. I glanced out the window to see a nice country house. "Come on." Kendall said, getting out.
I followed after him.
"Mom!" Kendall called as we walked into the house. A few seconds later a woman walked up to us.
"Kendall! So good to see you!" she said. She looked at me. "Who's this?"
"This is Nicole." Kendall said. I smiled at her, but said nothing.
"Kendall there is someone in the living room waiting for you." his mom said. Kendall nodded and I followed him to the doorway. We both stopped.
"SURPRISE!" his mom said.
"Abby." Kendall said. I turned around and walked away. "Nicole wait!"
