CHAPTER 6

Reigen took a small bag out of his jacket. "Here, grab it. As soon as you see or sense anything weird throw a bunch of salt at it." You grabbed the salt while questioning yourself about why you accepted this job. "What about you boss?", he smirked, he actually liked it when you called him boss, "I'll try to exorcise them all" he took out some pieces of paper out of a notebook and started writing something on them. You wanted to see what he was doing but he intentionally hided it. All of a sudden, yo feel something going up your leg "KYAAAAAA", you see some weird creature with a human face peeping up your skirt with a blush on its face "P-panties..." it says. You quickly grab a bunch of salt and violently throw it at the spirits eyes. It starts to disappear while he lets out a weird growl. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT", you turned to look at Reigen. He was still writing on his notes but he was starting to be surrounded by spirits. "Mr.Reigen i see them! they are all around you!", but to your surprise something unexpected happened, "Hah! I see y'all looked sad and bored from having to be waiting so long till some beautiful woman appears! Unfortunately for you this lady right here is human! And she can't go out on a date with any of you!" Reigen had jumped and was showing a stupid drawing he had made with a sharpie. Surprisingly, the spirits backed down a bit and were now listening to him. "But we want to have fun!", says one "Forget the chick, i wanna see what that blondie has to offer us!", "Hes so handsome, mama i wanna marry him!", "It's all this economys fault!".

The spirits started arguing with each other but you couldnt see much because Reigen had grabbed your hand and you two were now running away from that place. "What the hell just happened?! How did you do that?!", "I don't even know myself but it turned out to be a great chance to get away from there!"

You had been running for a while now and there were no signs of spirits near. You panted and sat down on the ground. Reigen looked at you, "Are you ok? I don't think they followed us.", "Im fine, but what now? Its too late and we can barely see anything even with our lanterns". "I'll figure something out, the road cant be too far from here. I suggest we look for it.", 'How can this man stay positive in situations like this?'. He helped you get up again and you two started walking towards one direction.
At one point you arrived at a road, guided by the lampposts. You figured out the way back to the city.
It was a beautiful night, the sky was clear and you could see the stars shining so bright. Although it was beautiful, it was still January and you were freezing. Reigen seemed to notice and took off his jacket, "Here.", he put the jacket around your shoulders and you put it on. "A-are you sure you are not cold?", you asked him, "Im fine, you need it the most since you are just wearing a shirt and a skirt." , "Thanks."

You two continued the walk in silence. You were blushing a bit because of his nice gesture and also because his jacket smelled of him, 'Hes cute', you thought, 'and your boss. So y/n, no!'. While you were shaking your head to try to delete what you were thinking, you reached a bus stop with a flashing sign saying that the next bus would come in ten minutes. You sighed in relief.

Both of you sat down on a bench, next to each other to wait for the bus. You closed your eyes and started thinking about the nice and hot bath you were going to have later. You didnt realize but you were softly leaning and your head was now resting on Reigens shoulder.

Bada-bing bada-boom Reigens pov

I sat next to y/n in hopes to feel a bit warmer. I had given her my jacket and i felt great while doing that but after 20 seconds i lowkey regretted it.
The night bus was coming in 10 minutes and i felt like i could froze sitting here. That was until i felt something on my shoulder. I turn my head and see y/ns adorable face on my shoulder. I tense up. What was the meaning of this?! 'I-is she showing affection towards me? Did she just fall asleep on me? Does she like me? Is she cold too?' Lots of questions appear on my mind and my body eventually heats up till the point im sweating bullets. 'CALM DOWN REIGEN, YOU CAN DO THIS', i hold her right hand with my left and i softly brush it with my thumb.
"Y/n? Did you fall asleep?", she suddenly moves her head and i quickly move my hand away, blushing and hiding my face by turning my head to the other side.

Your pov

I was falling asleep, Reigens scent and his body warmth next to me was making me doze. I felt something massaging my hand and a voice calling my name awoke me.

"T-the bus is here."
