Foggy with moss
Wildlife seeping from every corner
Surrounding the pool of darkness that flickers like an underworld lighthouse
Postponing my thoughts.

I travel back through the abyss of my memories
Searching for the moment long forgotten of the

My panic skyrockets.
I inhale.
I exhale.
I start over
Eyes like sunflowers and summer skies staring into mine
Misty with dew
Light glazing every inch
A dark hole in the middle, pouring out endless streams of varnish and fairy dust
Stopping my thoughts for a moment.
Eyes-
Have I been here before?
I ponder, my heart longing for answers
Disdain fills my heart until it's bursting at the seams
Why don't I know the colour? Why does this seem so familiar?
Restart.
Reset.
I need to go back to the beginning.
Eyes like stormy blue skies filled with lightning and dusty clouds
Cloudy with rain and a hint of sadness
Drowning
Drowning.
Drowning!
I'm drowning!
Eyes-
Eyes...
I can't remember
I could just look
But I can't
I shouldn't
But I want to.
I slowly remove the covers
Light burns my retinas
At first
The pain soothes me
I reflect while the light dims slightly
But as they adjust I look into the reflective glass and finally see the truth
