~November 3rd~

Riley and Oliver had chemistry together. Like actual chemistry, the class. Riley managed to dumb herself down enough so that she was put in his class. Unfortunately, during the last two months that they had been dating, Riley always did their work while Oliver goofed off and played with his football friends. Today, though, Riley didn't want that to happen.

"Pair up!" the science teacher said. Oliver looked to his left. Riley was already staring right back at him, pouting. The message she was trying to convey was "Will you be my partner? Pretty, pretty please?" and Oliver totally understood.

"Sorry man, the babe wins," he told his friend, getting up and walking over to Riley's table.

"Hey Riles," he kissed her cheek, sitting down into the stool next to his girlfriend.

Riley smiled, "Hey Oli." She leaned in to hug him, but he scooted away with a surrendering gesture.

"Look babe, I didn't come over here to cuddle," he shuddered at the thought, slightly pushing her away.

"You're the smartest kid in class; that's mostly why I chose you," he said, "I don't mind the attention, but if I don't pass this class, I'm off the football team, and our date on Friday is cancelled."

Riley nodded, understanding. They had done this before. She would do his work while he chatted away. He needed a passing mark in order to stay on the football team, and to please his parents, who would ground him otherwise. But Riley didn't want to work.

She looked around until her eyes landed on the perfect target. Madison? Or was it Megan... Whatever. Riley didn't care, she probably was a loser anyway.

"Hey, you!" she called, "I want two copies of the completed assignment on my desk by the end of this period. You know, if you want a social life."

The girl shot out of her seat. "Oh yeah? What on earth will I get out of it?" Riley shrugged.

"You can sit at my lunch table, but only for a day." Riley bargained nonchalantly.

The girl sitting next to the loser jumped and grabbed her friend down, hissing:

"Madeleine Creevey, don't you dare say no. We could be popular!"

Riley rolled her eyes. Those girls would never be popular, they just didn't have what it took.

That girl still looked uncertain-as if she was still debating whether she should yell at Riley's demand or agree and please her friend.

"Come on Madeline, please?" her friend asked, giving Maddie the puppy dog eyes.

"Fine. I'll do your lame ass homework, but never again b*tch."

"You could always not sit at my table and I can get someone else to do my homework. It's not like you're special or anything. This is a waste of my time," Riley snarled, quickly turning around.

She sashayed her hips and walked to another person-a boy this time. "Hey can you-"

"Wait!"

Riley turned around smiling, she knew her plan would work.

"What?"

The girl-Madeleine?-stood there awkwardly sifting from foot to foot. "Um, I'll do your work."

"Great! Don't screw up!" Riley said in a cheery tone, shoving her papers towards her before sauntering towards Oliver once more.

"Hey there, handsome," she said, gliding onto his lap, "I just got us a nerd."
