Guardian Spirit (Date A Live X Destiny)

Chapter 4: Gathering Intel Part 1

(Shido P.O.V 2 days after the encounter)

I was at home with Kotori and Reine. Telling them about the new Spirit and that this Spirit was a man. We were gathered around the table, staring at 5 pictures. 3 of them were on the Spirit with his helmet off, and in both sets of armor. The fourth picture was of his ship. And finally, the last picture was of his weapon, which looks like some type of revolver.

Reine: Shin, tell us everything you know about him.

Shido: Well first of all, he was able to hack into my comms.

Kotori: No. He said his friend did.

Shido: Well yeah. But he calls himself a Guardian. Has there ever been a Spirit with that name before?

Kotori: No. Like I said Shido, this Spirit is new to everyone. Not only that, he is the first Spirit to have a ship.

Reine: Didn't he have 2 other ships chasing him?

Shido: Yeah, 2 Red ones. But one of them crashed before it made it fully through the portal and the other one was shot down by the Spirit.

Kotori: Now that I think about that. He did shoot some creature that was survived that crash. What exactly was that creature?

Shido: I don't know, it didn't remotely look like a human.

Kotori: And I doubt we can recover the body or the wreckage. The AST mostly likely been to the sites.

Shido: I wonder where the Spirit is at?

Reine: Don't worry Shin, he will most likely make his appearance soon.

After a few more minutes of discussing about the new Spirit, Kotori gets a call from Kannazuki.

Kotori: WHAT! That's impossible! Alright we'll be there soon.

Shido: What was that about?

Kotori turns towards me with a serious expression on her face.

Kotori: The male Spirit is on the Fraxinus.

(Star P.O.V 1 hour earlier Location Orbit)

We were currently in Orbit. We hacked into one of the satellites, trying to gather as much information as possible on this place. Since the city we were just at looked nothing like the Last City and building weren't destroyed like the ones in the EDZ and the cosmodrome. We even went towards the moon and all the other planets that our people colonize on. But not a single one of them had building or even our enemies presences weren't there.

Star: This just doesn't make sense. This is clearly Earth, but it's not our Earth.

Spark: I know what you mean. It doesn't add up. Maybe we time traveled back?

Star: I doubt that Spark. Because the year is 2019 and around this time is when the Traveler was discovered. And from what I am reading there isn't a single thing about it.

(A/N I don't know what year the Traveler actually arrived. I even tried to look it up but couldn't find it, so if anyone knows please let me know)

Spark: Then maybe we went to another dimension?

Star: That would be the only thing that makes sense. Lets just hope we didn't. We need more information. Spark do you have the last known location of that girl?

Spark: Yeah I do! Weird. The location was right above the city we left from, where you met that kid Shido. But there was nothing above us at that time.

Star: I think it's about time we visit this girl. They clearly know things. Spark set the coordinate in.

After Spark put the coordinates in, we flew towards the location of the girl last know location. After about 10 minutes of flying, we made it to where the location was. But nothing was here.

Star: Spark give me a quick scan.

After a few seconds, the scan was complete and it revealed a giant ship cloak. I flew a bit closer to the ship and we transmated onto the ship.

Star: Is there a entrance up here Spark?

Spark: From what the scans tell me. Yes there is. Right in front of you.  

I walked forward a bit until I found an hatch on the ground. I tried to open the hatch, but it was locked so I pulled out Midnight Coop and put a couple of rounds into the lock, breaking it. I climbed down the ladder and walked down a few hallways. I continued to walked around the ship, looking for the main control room. That was until I heard voice around the corner. I went to the edge of the corner and peaked around it, seeing who is around there. 5 girls. One with purple hair, one of them has a puppet on their hand, 2 girls with orange hair that are clearly twins, a girl with blue hair, and a girl with light indigo color hair.

Purple hair girl: So why did Kotori tell us to wait here?

Twin 1: Explain. Kotori needed to talk to Shido about the new Spirit. 

Light Indigo hair girl: But shouldn't we still be there with darling? We are Spirits after all.

I continued to listen to a bit longer to the girls conversation. But I kept staring at the light indigo hair girl, I don't know why but it's weird. Eventually the girls walked away to another place on the ship. So I kept on with my search for the control room. Soon I found a computer that seems to be a part of the ships mainframe. I had Spark hack into it, but there was nothing important worth knowing about. But it did give us the layout of the ship. 

Star: How far are we from the control room? 

Spark: Not that far actually. Just make a left and it should be the door in front of you.

I went the direction Spark told me to go. And he indeed was correct, we found the control room. There was a sign to the right of the door that says control room. I open the door and took a few steps inside. Inside the control room was the girls from before and 6 other people who I guess worked in here. Every single one of them staring right at me.

Star: Oh shit.

Another chapter out! I'm proud of this one, because I feel like my writing has improved a bit. :)
