Chapter 12: Rallying The Troops

(Star P.O.V)

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. This woman before me was saying she was the Traveler. But how? The Traveler was captured by Ghaul and his forces.

Star: There is no way in hell that you are the Traveler!

Traveler: You are right and wrong Star.

Star: What do you mean?

Traveler: I am a fragment of the Traveler from your world. The day that I was born was the day your Traveler sacrificed itself.

Kotori: So what you are saying is that you're just a piece of the Traveler. Is that the case then how are you here and not on Star home world?

Traveler: The reason is quite simple. The day the true Traveler sacrificed itself. The energy was so enormous that it actually open a small portal between reality and nonexistent. Which is the place we walk on this very moment. That sharp before you went through that portal and ended up here.

Shido: What is exactly is this place?

Traveler: The Dark Forest. It's a place where Darkness and Light lives

Star: Strange, I always thought this was some type of dream forest.

Yoshino: Ummm miss? Star said the Traveler is a giant ball, so how exactly do you have a human form?

Miku: You got a good point Yoshino.

Traveler: I got you Spirits to thank for that.

Kaguya: Us?

Traveler: Yes you Spirits. When the very first Spirit arrived, the energy from that spatial quake and the Light that my shard held combined and gave me a human form.

Star: But you told me there were 2 other Guardians here before. Were they resurrected here on this planet?

Traveler: Yes and no. The Hunter that preciously roamed this world was the first and last Guardian I brought back. The Titan on the other hand was brought back by the true Traveler. But I do not know how he arrived but I feel like it must of involved something with the Vex since there was no spatial quake occurrences when he arrived to this world.

Shido: What are the Vex?

Star: Time traveling robot. They're extremely dangerous. Wait a minute!

Everyone turned towards me.

Miku: What is it Star?

Star: If the Titan arrived here because of Vex technology, then that must mean he used a Vex portal and since he used that there is one somewhere on this planet.

Shido: So that is a good thing right? You can return home.

Star: That is a good thing. But there is also a bad thing.

Shido: What would the bad thing be?

Star: If there is an actual portal here, then the Vex once walked on your planet.

Everyone looked at me dumbfounded. I couldn't blame them though. One of the enemies of humanity is on their world. But who knows, maybe the Vex left this planet long ago and they might of left some of their technology behind.

Spark: I just thought of something!

We all turned out attention to Spark.

Star: What is it?

Spark: Remember how when we arrived I said we could be in another dimension? Well if there is or was a Vex present on this planet then that couldn't be the case.
