Chapter 10: Acquaintances

(Star P.O.V)

Star: Help me reclaim the light and find the Titan.

Kotori: How can we help you reclaim this.... Light?

Star: There is a reason why we were brought here after the attack. I've been having these visions since the Light was lost. This... woman has told me to come to a world and find the Spirits that lives there. But when I first had that vision, I thought it was just a dream. But turns out it's real.

Reine: How did you know the Spirits were real?

Star: When I first met Shido. Spark hacked into his comms and said I was a Spirit. Then I encountered more of you people and once again I was called a Spirit. Even those files we took from your ship, you people had me classified as a Spirit. On top of that, Kurumi called me a Spirit.

The room went silent. Everyone stared at me with shocked looks.

Shido: Did you just say Kurumi?

Star: Yeah. Nightmare. Clock eye. Crazy bitch.

Shido: Where did you find her?

Star: Actually she found me. When I finished reading the files on everyone, I turned on the lights and saw a shadow figure. I took a couple of shots into the shadow, did nothing. And then she came out of said shadow. I wanted answer, because she seemed to know who the woman I was talking about, so I held her a gun point. But she had a clone or something sneak up behind me with a gun aimed at my head. Personally I would of taken the shot and killed her, but I rather not die my final death.

I got up from my chair and walked towards the nearest window, just to stare out of it.

Star: It has been 10 years since my resurrection. I have killed so many living things, that the numbers could be up in the millions. I have killed their leader. Their... gods. We should of been ready for this. But we weren't. I just wonder how much longer the good people of the Last City has to suffer for. And now... we're being hunted down. For all I could know, I could be the last one.

No one says a thing to me. But I could hear someone whispering behind me.

Shido: Star?

I turned around to face him. I could see he has a smile on his face.

Shido: We are willing to help you. But on one condition.

Star: And what is this condition?

Shido: You'll let me seal your powers.

I sighed while shaking my head.

Star: You can't.

Shido: Why's that!?

Shido started to get a little upset at my comment.

Star: When we get reconnected with the Light and find that Titan. We will be leaving this planet and finding our way back to the city.

Miku: But why not stay here? Or bring the people who survived to our world?

Star: Then that would mean we would have to leave the Traveler behind. Our only choice is take back the city. Please I beg you, help us.

Kotori: Fine. What do we need to do?

Star: The woman from my visions said once I found you, head to the mountains just outside the city. So I guess that is where we will start.

Reine: Ok, so now that we have a place to start our search. Why don't we split up?

Star: Sounds good to me. But my ship can only hold 3 more people.
