TIC-TAC-TIC-TAC-TIC-TAC-TIC-TAC-TI- "FUCKING STOP WILL YOU!" Startled by her outburst the student jerked his head and momentarily settled his line of sight on Elisia. Upon meeting her harsh glare he scowled and flipped his head back the direction it originally faced as he focused on the front of the classroom. Finally, she thought. That horrid noise has ceased.
Whilst those who had glanced towards the commotion returned their attention to other purposes Elisia remained brewing in her constant storm of rage filled emotions. And the misery. Can't forget the misery. Afterall, it is always there. The teacher not long after rushed back into the classroom and went on to teach the lesson. Elisia wished she would focus, however was too frustrated to try learning anything. You're not smart enough to be able to understand anything she discusses, anyway. No point trying. You always were a quitter. Idiot. Moron. Dimwit.
Elisia furrowed her brows and tried her hardest not to burst out yet again. Don't make other people upset just because you are. That's selfish. Only people with terrible personalities do that. Guess you really are inconsiderate. She agreed fully with what she was thinking; could not argue against what she believed. No one deserved to suffer simply because she was. The thought of dragging those around her downwards is what truly upset her the most. Yet you can't seem to help yourself.
Elisia violently brought her fist down on the desk covered with immature graffiti, forced herself to suppress the urge to continue, and gained the attention of the class. Ignoring the stares and taking in lungfuls of oxygen to remain as calm as possible, Elisia guided her head to rest on top of her arms and table then began silently and swiftly jigging her leg. Though the teacher was transparently displeased and her peers judged her relentlessly, everyone moved on as if her outburst had never occurred. They'd react the same way if I killed myself. Elisia shook herself of those pointless thoughts and fell back on welcoming the emptiness she resented so greatly. Better to feel nothing.
When the session had ended Elisia moved to her next not-so-lesson and proceeded to zone out again. It passed by in another one of her commonplace blurs, and afterwards she retreated to a remote bench to consume the food she had lazily chucked in her backpack that morning.
She sure worked up an appetite for doing nothing for half of the day, which made her regret having not packed more. Her body felt heavy and dead while she chewed through her lunch; an apple.
The freckley girl would make herself appear busy or distracted whenever she caught sight of someone who was acquainted with her. Once they had continued out of range the heavy appendages known as her limbs went limp and oxygen would trudge forth from her mouth. The rest of her day carried on similarly, aside from her being as polite as her mood allowed to her friends whenever she shared a session with them.
Class after prolonged class had passed while she zoned out, flunked her exam and handed in a half-assed assignment. Soon enough there was a rush of adolescents heading out of school to play video games, study, and hang out with their mates. Elisia was in no hurry. After a rough day she was left completely deflated. She hadn't done any classwork and disappeared during breaks to avoid interacting with anyone she knew.
Wallowing in her depression had only proven to further tire her out, but she knew that she would now have to drag her feet back to her household. The peak of temperature during a day in Australia seared down on the fragile girl as she slumped her way back.
