"But I wanna hear it directly from you." Suho admitted, looking Irene in the eyes. Irene was hesitant for a bit before raising her eyebrows. "Y-you're serious?" Irene asked and Suho nodded.
Irene was not an affectionate person to begin with. Saying things like these embarrass her. She was confused of why he wanted her to say it aloud even though he already knows the answer.
"Please?" Suho pouted, making Irene's heart skip a beat. With that, she finally decided to give in. She sighed, closing her eyes to prepare herself to say something she never thought she'd say any time soon.
"I like you." Irene quickly blurted out. As soon as Suho heard those words come out of Irene's mouth, he could feel his heart beating faster than ever.
Without realizing, he had his hands on his heart and his lips curving upwards, showing an ever-so-happy smile. For a while, he simply stared at her and admired her beauty with a smile plastered on his face.
"Don't look at me like that." Irene said lowering down her face which was adorably red, making him to want to stare at her more and more.
"Sorry, you're just too cute." he admitted subconsciously, making Irene's face flush a deeper red.
It took Suho another few minutes to register what was actually happening. His eyes widened at the fact that a girl he's been admiring for a long time actually likes him back.
"What's wrong?" Irene asked, little worried, since he has been staring at her like he had seen a ghost.
"I... I just- It's.. I can't believe you actually like me." He shyly admitted, blushing hard. Irene couldn't help but laugh at his response. She found his current state extremely adorable.
"Why? Do you not want me to like you?" Irene asked and Suho shook his head vigorously. "Ofcourse not!" He answered quickly, making the two of them laugh.
Irene enjoyed moments like these. She liked being with him, talking with him and basically doing anything with him. She wished to have realized her feelings sooner.
As for Suho, everyone already knows how he feels towards her. He's the type of person who cant seem to hide what he's feeling. Whenever he's around Irene, his lips subconsciously turn into a smile and his eyes are full of love.
